## Pricing

from $0.50 / 1,000 results

Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

### Example input

```json
{
  "origins": ["RUH"],
  "destinations": ["LHR"],
  "tripType": "roundTrip",
  "departureDate": "2026-11-10",
  "returnDate": "2026-11-20",
  "cabin": "any",
  "adults": 1,
  "currency": "SAR",
  "maxItems": 5,
  "proxyConfiguration": { "useApifyProxy": false }
}
```

### Output

Each scraped item is one flight option (a direct flight or a connecting itinerary) stored as one record in the default dataset. A round trip produces records for both directions (`direction`: `outbound` / `return`). `maxItems` limits each search separately, so the total number of items can be higher than `maxItems` (see the FAQ).

### Example output

Fares are shortened to two entries here for readability.

### ❓ FAQ

**How do I search a round trip?** Add a `returnDate` (the actor then searches a round trip), or set `tripType` to `roundTrip` explicitly. The actor searches the outbound and return flights and labels each record with `direction`.

**Can I search many routes at once?** Yes. Every origin is combined with every destination. Routes Riyadh Air does not operate are skipped with a warning.

**How far ahead can I search?** Riyadh Air sells roughly 11 months ahead. Dates beyond that are skipped with a warning.

**How does `maxItems` work?** It is a limit per search, not a total for the run. Every route in one direction is its own search, and `flexibleDays` dates are part of that search. Each search stops once it has stored `maxItems` flights (the earliest dates first). The most you can get in a run is `maxItems` × the number of searches, where the number of searches is origins × destinations, doubled for a round trip. Examples with `maxItems: 6`:

| Input                                  | Searches              | Maximum items |
| -------------------------------------- | --------------------- | ------------- |
| One route, one way                     | 1                     | 6             |
| One route, round trip                  | 2 (outbound + return) | 12            |
| 2 origins × 3 destinations, one way    | 6                     | 36            |
| 2 origins × 3 destinations, round trip | 12                    | 72            |

If a search has fewer flights than `maxItems`, you simply get all of them.

**How is the price calculated?** `price` is the lowest total for all passengers on that flight. Per-passenger prices for adults, children and infants are inside each entry of `fares`.

**Which currencies are supported?** Any currency code accepted by the airline (SAR, USD, EUR, EGP, GBP...). Unknown codes fall back to SAR.

**Is this live availability?** Yes, results are read live from the airline on every run, so prices and schedules reflect the moment of the scrape.

**Do I need a proxy?** Not by default. Enable Apify Proxy if you see blocked requests.

# Actor input Schema

## `origins` (type: `array`):

IATA codes of the departure airports, e.g. RUH, JED, CAI. Every origin is combined with every destination.

## `destinations` (type: `array`):

IATA codes of the arrival airports, e.g. LHR, DXB, BKK.

## `tripType` (type: `string`):

One way searches the outbound flight only. Round trip also searches the return flight (destination to origin) on the return date. Leave empty to decide automatically: round trip when a return date is set, otherwise one way.

## `departureDate` (type: `string`):

Outbound date in YYYY-MM-DD format. Must be within the bookable window of the airline (roughly 11 months ahead).

## `returnDate` (type: `string`):

Return date in YYYY-MM-DD format. Required for round trips.

## `flexibleDays` (type: `integer`):

Also search this many days after each date (0 = exact date only, max 30). Days without flights are skipped.

## `cabin` (type: `string`):

Restrict results to one cabin, or return fares for all cabins.

## `adults` (type: `integer`):

Number of adults (12+).

## `children` (type: `integer`):

Number of children (2-11).

## `infants` (type: `integer`):

Number of infants on lap (under 2). Cannot exceed the number of adults.

## `currency` (type: `string`):

Currency code for prices, e.g. SAR, USD, EUR, EGP.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of flights to return per route and date search.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Your proxy configuration from Apify
