## Pricing

from $0.50 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## 🏪 Ubuy Scraper — Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain & Oman

Ubuy is a cross-border online store that ships millions of imported products from the US and other overseas stores to the Gulf, across electronics, health, beauty, home, fashion, toys and more. This scraper extracts product listings with local-currency prices, brands, ratings, discounts and images from Ubuy's search, category and brand pages in **Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman** — useful for price monitoring, market research and catalog analysis of imported goods across the Gulf.

### Why use this scraper?

- 💰 **Price monitoring** — track local-currency prices and discounts on imported products over time
- 🏷️ **Brand tracking** — see how international brands are priced and positioned in each Gulf market
- 🛒 **Cross-country comparison** — compare the same product's price in SAR, AED, QAR, BHD and OMR
- 📊 **Market research** — measure assortment, ratings and discount depth by category
- 🔔 **Deal alerts** — spot products with old price vs. current price drops
- 🧠 **Catalog enrichment** — feed titles, images and brands into your own product database

### ❓ FAQ

**Which URLs does it support?** Search, category and brand pages on the five Ubuy domains above, in English (`/en/`) or Arabic (`/ar/`). Single product pages and Ubuy Kuwait are not supported.

**How many items can I get from one URL?** Ubuy shows up to about 500 results per search or category (around 11 pages), so that is the practical maximum per start URL. Brand pages show a single page of roughly 48 products; use a search URL with the brand name for more.

**Can I filter and sort?** Yes — copy the URL from your browser after applying a sort (`sort_by`) or choosing a category, and use it as a start URL.

**Does it work with Arabic?** Yes. Arabic URLs return the same fields; prices are always numbers in the country's currency.

**Which proxy does it use?** Apify residential proxies, with the exit country matching each start URL (for example a UAE proxy for `ubuy.ae`). Other traffic is blocked by the site.

**Why is `maxItems` counted per URL?** Each start URL has its own counter, so a run with three URLs and `maxItems: 50` can return up to 150 items. You can mix countries in one run.

**How fresh is the data?** Every run reads the live site, so prices and discounts reflect the moment of the run.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Ubuy search, category or brand URLs (English or Arabic) from ubuy.com.sa, ubuy.ae, ubuy.qa, ubuy.com.bh or ubuy.com.om, e.g. https://www.ubuy.ae/en/search/?q=laptop

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

The maximum number of items to scrape per start URL

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Residential proxies are required — the sites block datacenter and non-proxy traffic. The proxy country follows each start URL (for example Saudi Arabia for ubuy.com.sa) unless you pick a country here.
