## Pricing

from $1.75 / 1,000 activities

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## Civitatis Tours & Activities Scraper

Collect publicly available **Civitatis (civitatis.com)** tours and activities as
clean, structured records. Feed the actor city listing pages and/or direct
activity pages; it returns one rich record per activity — price, rating, review
count, duration, the languages it is offered in, meeting point, start
coordinates and more.

### Input

| field | description |
|---|---|
| `startUrls` | Civitatis URLs to scrape. **City listing** pages (e.g. `https://www.civitatis.com/en/madrid/`) — the actor follows every activity-card link on them and paginates. **Direct activity** pages (e.g. `https://www.civitatis.com/en/madrid/atletico-stadium-tour/`) — scraped straight away. You can mix both. |
| `maxItems` | Cap on total activities returned (`0` = no cap). |
| `maxPagesPerCity` | How many listing pages to follow per city (20 activities per page). Default `3`. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Uses Apify Residential by default — **no external proxy key needed**. |

### What you get (one record per activity)

| field | description |
|---|---|
| `id` | stable numeric activity id |
| `title` | activity name |
| `activity_url` | activity page URL |
| `city` / `country` | location |
| `category` / `categories` | activity category (e.g. Guided Tours, Entrance Tickets) |
| `price` / `currency` | starting price and currency |
| `rating` | average rating (out of 10) |
| `review_count` | number of reviews |
| `duration` | human-readable duration (e.g. `2 hours`) |
| `languages` | language codes the activity is offered in (e.g. `en`, `es`, `fr`) |
| `meeting_point` | where the activity starts |
| `free_cancellation` | whether free cancellation is available |
| `lat` / `lng` | start coordinates |
| `image_url` | lead image |
| `description` | short activity summary |
| `review_images_count` | number of user-uploaded review photos |

### How it works

Each activity page is server-rendered and carries first-party structured signals
— schema.org microdata (`price`, `priceCurrency`, `aggregateRating`), Open-Graph
meta (coordinates, image) and a small inline data object (city, country,
languages). The scraper reads these directly, so it is resistant to cosmetic
markup changes. City listing pages are parsed for their activity-card links,
which are then followed to the detail pages and paginated. Requests use a
residential proxy for reliable access; you only supply the URLs.

### Pricing

Pay per result — you are charged once per activity record written to the
dataset. Compute runs on your own Apify account.

### Notes

This tool collects publicly available tour and activity data for research and
aggregation.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Civitatis URLs to scrape. Two shapes are accepted: (1) a city listing page such as https://www.civitatis.com/en/madrid/ — the actor follows every activity-card link on it and paginates; (2) a direct activity page such as https://www.civitatis.com/en/madrid/atletico-stadium-tour/ — scraped straight away. You can mix both.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of activity records to return across all start URLs. Default 0 = no cap.

## `maxPagesPerCity` (type: `integer`):

How many listing pages to follow per city listing URL (20 activities per page). Default 3.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy used to reach civitatis.com. Apify RESIDENTIAL is recommended and used by default — no external proxy key required.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    "https://www.civitatis.com/en/madrid/"
  ],
  "maxPagesPerCity": 3,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": [
      "RESIDENTIAL"
    ]
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

Dataset of scraped activity records.
