## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## CMOA Manga Ranking Scraper

This Actor collects publicly visible title cards from the daily ranking pages on [Comic Cmoa](https://www.cmoa.jp/). It can read the overall ranking or a selected category such as boy's manga, girls' manga, BL, light novels, books, magazines, media adaptations, or Cmoa originals. Each output item represents one title in the selected ranking page. The Actor does not sign in or open paid reading content.

### Input

`category` selects a ranking section. It defaults to `all`; the available values are `all`, `boy`, `gentle`, `girl`, `lady`, `boyslove`, `teenslove`, `lightnovel`, `book`, `magazine`, `photo`, `media`, `cmoaoriginal`, and `precede`.

`maxResults` is the maximum number of title records to save. It defaults to 50 and accepts values from 1 to 200. The Actor stops after that many records even when the source page contains more entries.

`proxyConfiguration` is optional. With Apify Proxy disabled or omitted, requests go directly to the public site. When enabled, the Actor creates the proxy configuration from this input and uses it for the page request.

Example input:

```json
{
  "category": "all",
  "maxResults": 10,
  "proxyConfiguration": {"useApifyProxy": false}
}
```

### Output

Records include the title ID, title URL, title text, rank, selected ranking category, authors, genre, magazine or label, volume range, displayed price, numeric price bounds and unit when available, rating, review count, cover image URL, free-preview availability, and collection timestamp. Optional source fields are omitted when a card does not expose them. The price is preserved in the unit shown by Cmoa: points (`pt`) or yen (`JPY`).

Example item:

```json
{
  "id": "370648",
  "url": "https://www.cmoa.jp/title/370648/",
  "title": "【単話】婚約者の王子に毒を盛られたので愛が冷めました",
  "rank": 1,
  "category": "all",
  "authors": ["保志レンジ", "あさづきゆう"],
  "genre": "少女マンガ",
  "labels": ["ＦＬＯＳ　ＣＯＭＩＣ"],
  "volume_range": "1～6巻",
  "price_display": "0pt～180pt",
  "price_min": 0,
  "price_max": 180,
  "price_unit": "pt",
  "rating": 4.6,
  "review_count": 391,
  "cover_image_url": "https://cmoa.akamaized.net/data/image/title/title_0000370648/VOLUME/100003706480006.jpg",
  "free_preview": false,
  "scraped_at": "<UTC collection timestamp>"
}
```

### Price per result

The Actor saves one dataset item for each title. Apify platform billing applies to dataset items under the account's current pricing. This Actor does not add a custom event charge or call `Actor.charge`.
