## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Docomo Smartphone Catalog Scraper

This actor collects the public Android smartphone catalog from NTT DOCOMO at `docomo.ne.jp`. It reads the product cards published on Docomo's catalog page and returns one dataset item for each product card. The source exposes product names, series labels, model codes where shown, descriptions, color names, release status, release dates, official product links, product images, and the listed prices. It does not sign in or submit purchase forms.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `maxResults` | integer | `50` | Maximum number of product records to return. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | `{"useApifyProxy": false}` | Optional Apify proxy settings. Omit this field or leave Apify Proxy disabled to connect directly. |

The actor requests the Android smartphone catalog page. If a proxy configuration is supplied, it is passed to Apify's proxy configuration helper and used for that page request. The actor does not force a proxy group or country.

### Example output

```json
{
  "id": "so52g",
  "url": "https://www.docomo.ne.jp/product/so52g/",
  "title": "Xperia 10 VIII SO-52G",
  "series": "Xperia",
  "model_code": "SO-52G",
  "description": "「これがしたい」が、すぐできる。",
  "colors": ["フローズンホワイト", "フロストグレー", "ミスティライラック"],
  "release_status": "発売中",
  "release_date": "2026年10月8日発売",
  "cash_price_jpy": 106040,
  "monthly_payment_jpy": 3233,
  "final_installment_jpy": 31680,
  "currency": "JPY",
  "image_url": "https://www.docomo.ne.jp/images_osp/common/product_pics/android_smartphone/2026_/SO52G/SO52G_wk.jpg"
}
```

Optional fields are included only when the card has a matching value. The numeric cash price is the first amount displayed in the cash-price field; when Docomo shows a trailing `～`, it represents the starting price for the listed variants. Release dates and status labels retain Docomo's Japanese text.

### Pricing

The actor sends one dataset item per product result. Apify platform dataset-item billing applies per result according to your account's current plan. This actor does not call `Actor.charge` or add a separate actor event charge.

});

// Prepare Actor input
const input = {};

// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("bovi/docomo-scraper").call(input);

// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
