## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## FanDuel Sportsbook Odds Scraper

Scrape **FanDuel Sportsbook odds** for NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MMA / UFC, soccer and tennis. Each event comes back as one flat row with the moneyline, point spread and total, and every price is given in **American, decimal and fractional** format. Optional league futures (championship winners, season win totals, awards) are returned as one row per market. No login and no API key are needed: the Actor reads the same public odds feed the FanDuel website uses.

### What it collects

- **Game rows** (`record_type: "game"`): event title, sport, league, start time, both participants, home/away team where the sport has one, and the odds below.
- **Moneyline** for both sides, plus the **draw** price for soccer.
- **Spread** (handicap line and price for each side) and **total** (over/under line and both prices) for NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL.
- **Futures rows** (`record_type: "future"`, optional): market name, market type, start time and a `selections` list with American, decimal and fractional odds for every contender.

In the odds columns `1` is `participant_1` (the first name in the event title) and `2` is `participant_2`. For "Away @ Home" events `participant_1` is the away team.

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `sport` | `ALL`, `NFL`, `NBA`, `MLB`, `NHL`, `MMA`, `SOC` (all soccer leagues) or `TEN`. |
| `includeFutures` | Also return futures, outrights and specials. Default `false`. |
| `maxResults` | Maximum number of records to return. Default `50`. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Optional. Use Apify Proxy, or switch it off to connect directly. |

```json
{
  "sport": "NFL",
  "includeFutures": false,
  "maxResults": 10,
  "proxyConfiguration": { "useApifyProxy": true }
}
```

### Example output

```json
{
  "record_type": "game",
  "event_id": 36160506,
  "title": "Seattle Seahawks @ Denver Broncos",
  "sport": "American Football",
  "league": "NFL",
  "start_time": "2026-10-16T00:16:00.000Z",
  "participant_1": "Seattle Seahawks",
  "participant_2": "Denver Broncos",
  "away_team": "Seattle Seahawks",
  "home_team": "Denver Broncos",
  "in_play": false,
  "moneyline_1_american": -148,
  "moneyline_1_decimal": 1.6757,
  "moneyline_1_fractional": "100/148",
  "moneyline_2_american": 126,
  "spread_1_line": -2.5,
  "spread_1_american": -115,
  "total_line": 40.5,
  "total_over_american": -115,
  "total_under_american": -105,
  "scraped_at": "2026-10-14T06:02:56+00:00"
}
```

Odds change every minute, so schedule the Actor if you want to track line movement. Fields that FanDuel does not offer for an event (for example a spread on a tennis match) are left out of that row instead of being filled with empty values.

### Pricing

Pay per result: you are billed for each record written to the dataset, at **$0.00042 per result** (about $0.42 per 1,000 results). The Actor start fee of the platform applies on top. You pay only for the rows you get, and `maxResults` caps the cost of a run.

### Notes

- Which sports have events depends on the calendar: off-season leagues return only futures.
- Prices are those FanDuel shows to visitors in New Jersey; markets can be suspended or removed close to game time.
- If direct requests are blocked from your environment, turn on Apify Proxy in the input.
