## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## FC2 Content Market Scraper

Collect public product cards from FC2 Content Market listing pages. The Actor reads the listing HTML and returns fields that are present on those cards: product ID, title, product URL, seller, price in FC2 points, media duration when shown, recommendation and comment counts, and thumbnail URL. It does not open product pages or download media.

### Input

| Name | Type | Required | Default |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| listingUrl | string | Yes | https://contents.fc2.com/?lang=en |
| maxResults | integer | No | 50 |
| proxyConfiguration | object | No | No proxy |

Use a public catalog, category, search, or seller listing URL on contents.fc2.com. The Actor follows the listing's next-page link until it reaches maxResults or there are no more pages. Duplicate product IDs are emitted once. The URL must use HTTPS and the contents.fc2.com host. No login is used. If proxyConfiguration is omitted or useApifyProxy is false, the Actor makes direct requests. When enabled, the proxy settings are passed to Apify's proxy configuration helper.

### Example output

The fields below come from a public FC2 listing card. Fields that a card does not expose are omitted from that record.

```
{
  "product_id": "3992421",
  "title": "Carnival of Souls",
  "url": "https://contents.fc2.com/article_search.php?id=3992421",
  "seller": "パブリックドメイントッドジェーピー",
  "seller_url": "https://contents.fc2.com/users/publicdomain/",
  "price_points": 1980,
  "price_label": "1,980 pt",
  "media_duration": "01:22:59",
  "recommendation_count": 0,
  "comment_count": 0,
  "thumbnail_url": "https://contents-thumbnail2.fc2.com/w360/storage78000.contents.fc2.com/file/394/39333001/1699070760.7.jpg"
}
```

### Price per result

This Actor does not charge a per-result fee. Apify platform compute and dataset storage charges may apply to a run.

### Scope and data quality

Collection is limited to public listing pages. Each record is parsed from the HTML card that supplied it; the Actor does not create sample records or fill missing site fields with guesses. The offline parser test uses a saved public listing page so the extraction can be checked without network access.

# Actor input Schema

## `listingUrl` (type: `string`):

Public FC2 Content Market catalog, category, search, or seller listing URL.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of public product records to collect across listing pages.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Optional Apify proxy settings. If omitted or disabled, requests use no configured proxy.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "listingUrl": "https://contents.fc2.com/?lang=en",
  "maxResults": 50,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    }
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("bovi/fc2-scraper").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
