## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Kalibrr Job Scraper — Philippines & Indonesia

Scrape job listings from [Kalibrr.com](https://www.kalibrr.com), the tech-first hiring platform for the Philippines and Indonesia. The actor reads Kalibrr's public job board data (no login, no cookies) and returns one clean record per job: title, company, city and region, job function, employment type, job level, education level, work setup (remote / hybrid), skills, perks, published salary range, publish and closing dates, and the full description and qualifications as HTML and plain text.

### What you can do with it

- Monitor new vacancies in the Philippine or Indonesian job market every day.
- Build salary and benefits benchmarks by function, level or city.
- Generate B2B leads: companies that are hiring right now, with industry and website.
- Feed job data into AI agents, RAG pipelines or your own job board.

### Input

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `searchQuery` | string | Keyword(s). One keyword, a comma-separated list (`nurse, accountant`) or a JSON array. Empty = all active jobs. |
| `location` | string | City filter, e.g. `Makati`, `Cebu City`, `Taguig`, `Jakarta`. |
| `country` | string | `Philippines` (default when empty) or `Indonesia`. |
| `jobFunction` | string | Kalibrr job function, e.g. `IT and Software`, `Accounting and Finance`. |
| `tenure` | string | `Full time`, `Part time`, `Freelance` or `Contractual`. |
| `isRemote` / `isHybrid` | boolean | Only work-from-home / only hybrid jobs. |
| `isOpenToFreshGrads` | boolean | Only jobs open to fresh graduates. |
| `daysOld` | integer | Only jobs published in the last N days (0 = no limit). |
| `enrichDetail` | boolean | One extra detail request per job to add duties, field of study, preferred courses, licenses, months of experience, age range, sex, relocation flag and `updatedAt`. |
| `startUrls` | array | Scrape specific Kalibrr job URLs instead of searching. |
| `maxResults` | integer | Maximum number of jobs to return (default 50). |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | Optional proxy. Not needed in most cases. |

Example input:

```json
{
  "searchQuery": "developer",
  "location": "Makati",
  "isHybrid": true,
  "maxResults": 100
}
```

### Output

Each dataset item looks like this (a real record; description and perks shortened):

```json
{
  "id": "273270",
  "url": "https://www.kalibrr.com/c/multisys-technologies-corporation/jobs/273270/android-developer-4",
  "title": "Android Developer",
  "isRemote": false,
  "isHybrid": true,
  "isOpenToFreshGrads": false,
  "numberOfOpenings": 0,
  "responseRate": 0,
  "skills": [
    "Android"
  ],
  "perks": [
    "Special Leave Benefits for Women",
    "Free Lunch or Snacks",
    "gym",
    "Medical / Health Insurance",
    "Paid Sick Leave"
  ],
  "salaryMin": null,
  "salaryMax": null,
  "publishDate": "2026-10-07",
  "closingDate": "2026-11-24",
  "descriptionText": "Job Summary:\n\nThe Android Developer will lead the development and maintenance of high-qual...",
  "qualificationsText": "- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field\n- With...",
  "source": "kalibrr.com",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-16T05:55:51.749087+00:00"
}
```

Also included: `companyLogo`, `isFeatured`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryInterval`, `publishDateISO`, `descriptionHtml`, `qualificationsHtml` and `contentHash` (a 16-character fingerprint for change detection). With `enrichDetail` or `startUrls` you also get `dutiesText`, `educationFields`, `preferredCourses`, `licenses`, `monthsWorkExperience`, `minAge`, `maxAge`, `sex`, `acceptWillingToRelocate` and `updatedAt`.

Notes:

- Salary is returned only when the employer chose to show it on Kalibrr; otherwise the salary fields are `null`.
- `responseRate` is the employer's response rate in percent (0–100), `null` when Kalibrr has no data yet.
- Dates are converted to Philippines time (UTC+8).

### Pricing

Pay per result: **$1.50 per 1,000 jobs** ($0.0015 per dataset item). You pay only for records saved to the dataset; use `maxResults` to cap your spend.

### Tips

- Leave `searchQuery` empty and set `daysOld: 1` on a daily schedule to get a feed of new jobs.
- Combine keywords with filters; if Kalibrr has no match the actor returns nothing instead of unrelated jobs.

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Optional Kalibrr job URLs (https://www.kalibrr.com/c/<company>/jobs/<id>/<slug>). When given, only these jobs are scraped and search is skipped.
