## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ORIAS · French Insurance Intermediaries

Search the public [ORIAS register](https://orias.fr) and export intermediary profile records. Each record can include the name, trade name, SIREN, ORIAS number, register status, registration categories, legal form, NAF code, address, public phone, public email, and website shown on the profile page. The actor does not log in to ORIAS and does not invent or enrich profile data from another source.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `searchTerm` | string | `assurance` | Search by intermediary name, SIREN, or ORIAS number. |
| `maxResults` | integer | `50` | Maximum number of profile records to return. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | direct connection | Optional Apify Proxy configuration. Enable it when your run needs a proxy. |

The actor submits the site's public search form, follows result pages, and opens public profile pages up to `maxResults`. Search terms may match several intermediaries. A result is omitted if its public profile cannot be parsed.

### Example output

```json
{
  "name": "Dominique SALLIER",
  "trade_name": "ABEILLE Assurances",
  "siren": "493559157",
  "orias_number": "07009306",
  "registration_status": "Inscrit",
  "registration_count": 2,
  "phone": "0470900279",
  "email": "gannat-centre@abeille-assurances.com",
  "categories": [
    {
      "code": "AGA",
      "description": "Agent général d'assurance",
      "activity": "Activité d'intermédiation à titre principal",
      "status": "Inscrit",
      "registration_date": "04/04/2007"
    }
  ],
  "url": "https://orias.fr/home/showIntermediaire/493559157",
  "source": "orias.fr"
}
```

Fields that are not published on an individual profile are omitted from that record. Phone numbers and emails are returned only when ORIAS marks them as public.

### Price per result

Actor-level price: **$0.00 per result**. This actor does not charge a separate per-result event fee. Apify compute and storage usage remains subject to the rates on your Apify account.

### Local parser check

Run `PYTHONPATH=src:. python3 -m unittest discover -s tests -v` to parse the checked-in public profile fixtures without network access.
