## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Portalinmobiliario Scraper

Collect public property listings from [Portalinmobiliario.com](https://www.portalinmobiliario.com/), Chile's real estate marketplace. The actor reads the listing cards rendered in a public search page. It can return sale and rental listings with their MLC listing ID, canonical URL, title, operation, property type, asking price and currency, room counts, area labels, visible features, location, seller when shown, and lead photo.

### Input

`searchUrl` is a public Portalinmobiliario search URL. Its filters are preserved; the default searches used apartments for sale in Santiago. `maxResults` is a positive result cap and defaults to 50. `scrapeMode` can be `overview` (one search-page request per page of results) or `detail` (also open each listing to read the page-provided CLP price, specifications, common expenses, seller, description, coordinates, condition, and available gallery image URLs). `proxyConfiguration` is optional. When omitted, or when `useApifyProxy` is false, the actor makes direct requests.

```json
{
  "searchUrl": "https://www.portalinmobiliario.com/venta/departamento/propiedades-usadas/santiago-metropolitana",
  "maxResults": 10,
  "scrapeMode": "overview",
  "proxyConfiguration": {"useApifyProxy": false}
}
```

### Example output

```json
{
  "id": "MLC-2308580069",
  "url": "https://www.portalinmobiliario.com/MLC-2308580069-oportunidad-en-nunoa-2d-a-pasos-del-metro-_JM",
  "title": "Oportunidad En Ñuñoa / 2d / A Pasos Del Metro",
  "operation": "venta",
  "property_type": "Departamento",
  "price": 3100,
  "currency": "UF",
  "bedrooms": 2,
  "bathrooms": 2,
  "useful_area": "40 m² útiles",
  "location": "OPORTUNIDAD EN ÑUÑOA / 2D / A PASOS DEL METRO, Bogotá - Sierra Bella, Santiago"
}
```

Fields are included only when the target page provides a value the parser can read. Detail mode can add fields that are absent from a search card. It does not invent missing areas, coordinates, or property features. No login is required. The actor does not add a custom per-item charge: each saved record is billed as an Apify dataset item. Check the actor's Store page for the current price per result and your plan's rate.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchUrl` (type: `string`):

A public Portalinmobiliario search page. Filters in the URL are preserved.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of distinct property records to save.

## `scrapeMode` (type: `string`):

Overview reads search cards. Detail also opens each result for page-provided specifications, seller, location, description, and gallery images.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Optional Apify proxy settings. If omitted or useApifyProxy is false, requests use the direct connection.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "searchUrl": "https://www.portalinmobiliario.com/venta/casa/santiago-metropolitana",
  "maxResults": 50,
  "scrapeMode": "overview",
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": [
      "RESIDENTIAL"
    ]
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

Dataset with the collected property listings.
