## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Posh.vip Events Scraper

Collect public event listings and event-page details from posh.vip. The Actor reads event links from the HTML returned by a Posh Explore page, or fetches individual public event pages supplied as start URLs. If no start URL is supplied, it reads the public trending-event feed discovered in the Posh homepage source. No login is used.

Each result includes the event title and Posh page URL. Depending on the source page, records can also include the public event ID, flyer image, start and end times, timezone, category, venue name and address, city, state, country, coordinates, attendee count, order count, and description. A field is omitted when the public source does not provide it.

### Input

| Name | Type | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| startUrls | URL list | https://posh.vip/explore | Explore pages or direct /e/ event pages. Empty input uses the trending feed. |
| maxResults | Integer | 50 | Maximum number of event records returned; allowed range is 1 to 1,000. |
| proxyConfiguration | Object | Disabled | Optional Apify Proxy configuration. With the default, requests go directly to posh.vip. |

An Explore page contributes the event links present in its public HTML. Direct event URLs collect that specific page. The number of available results depends on what Posh returns for the requested page at run time.

### Example output

```
{
  "eventId": "6a3486ab125c4d4c2f9aba62",
  "title": "Charlotte VegFest 2026",
  "url": "https://posh.vip/e/charlotte-vegfest-2026",
  "startDateTime": "2026-10-10T16:00:00.000Z",
  "category": "Food & Drink",
  "attendeeCount": 671,
  "ordersCount": 12,
  "city": "Charlotte",
  "state": "NC",
```

### Price per result

Apify applies its standard dataset-item price to each result according to the account plan. This Actor does not add a separate custom per-result charge.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Use public Posh.vip Explore URLs to collect event cards returned in the page HTML, or direct /e/ event URLs to collect specific events. An empty list uses Posh.vip's public trending-event feed.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of event records to return in this run.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Optional Apify Proxy configuration. Leave disabled to connect directly.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    {
}
```

# Actor output Schema
