## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Profession.hu Scraper

Collect job listings from [profession.hu](https://www.profession.hu), a Hungarian job portal, as clean structured records. No login and no API key.

### What it collects

For every listing on a search, category or company page the actor returns:

- identity: `jobId`, `title`, `url`, `source`
- company: `company`, `companyId`, `companyUrl`, `companyLogoUrl`, `companyRating` (when the employer is rated)
- classification: `category`, `subcategory`, `employmentType`
- place: `location`, `workMode` (e.g. Hibrid), `city`, `county`
- job content shown on the card: `requirements`, `techStack`, `equipment`, `benefits`, `responsibilities`
- salary: `salaryStatus` (profession.hu mostly marks salaries as confidential; no figure is guessed)
- timing and flags: `postedText`, `postedAt`, `isNew`, `isResponsiveAdvertiser`, `applicationType`, `scrapedAt`

Fields the card does not show for a job are `null` or an empty list, never invented.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `keywords` | string | `developer` | Search keyword. Ignored when Start URLs are given. |
| `startUrls` | array | empty | Listing pages (category, company or search). Pagination is followed. |
| `maxResults` | integer | `50` | Maximum number of records. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | no proxy | Optional Apify Proxy settings. |

```json
{
  "keywords": "developer",
  "maxResults": 50,
  "proxyConfiguration": { "useApifyProxy": true }
}
```

### Example output

```json
{
  "jobId": "3024916",
  "title": "Senior AI Agent Engineer - Developer",
  "url": "https://www.profession.hu/allas/senior-ai-agent-engineer-developer-smartbotics-digital-network-hungary-kft-budapest-3024916",
  "company": "SmartBotics Digital Network Hungary Kft.",
  "location": "Hibrid • Budapest XI.kerület",
  "workMode": "Hibrid",
  "city": "Budapest",
  "county": "Pest megye",
  "employmentType": "Teljes munkaidő • Kötött munkarend • Vállalkozói • Alkalmazotti jogviszony",
  "requirements": ["1-3 év tapasztalat", "Angol felsőfok", "Magyar felsőfok"],
  "techStack": ["Python", "Docker", "LangChain"],
  "salaryStatus": "confidential",
  "postedText": "Tegnap 12:47",
  "postedAt": "2026-10-12T12:47:00",
  "isNew": true,
  "source": "profession.hu"
}
```

### Pricing

Pay per result: the platform bills each record pushed to the dataset, roughly $1.49 per 1,000 results. You are not charged for pages that fail to load.

### Notes

- Posting dates on profession.hu are relative ("Ma", "Tegnap") or day-and-month; `postedAt` is derived from them and `postedText` keeps the original.
- The site may block some datacenter IPs. If a run returns no records, enable Apify Proxy in the input.
