## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Societe.com Company Data Scraper

Search Societe.com for French companies and return structured company profiles. Each result can include the company name, SIREN and registered office SIRET, legal form, NAF activity code and description, registered address, postal code, city, share capital, creation date, registration status, director mandates, and a link to its Societe.com page. A field is omitted when it is not present in the public source page.

### Input

Enter a company name in searchQuery, for example Totalenergies. For an exact lookup, provide one or more nine-digit values in sirenNumbers. You can also search by a public director name in managerName. When SIREN numbers are provided, they take priority over the text fields.

maxResults limits the number of output records and defaults to 50. maxConcurrency controls company detail requests and defaults to 3 (maximum 5). Set includeDirectors to false to leave mandate histories out of the result. Proxy configuration is optional; if omitted or disabled, the Actor connects directly.

### Example

Input:

```
{
  "sirenNumbers": ["542051180"],
  "maxResults": 1,
  "includeDirectors": true,
  "proxyConfiguration": {"useApifyProxy": false}
}
```

Example result:

```
{
  "companyName": "TOTALENERGIES SE",
  "siren": "542051180",
  "siret": "54205118000066",
  "legalForm": "Société européenne",
  "nafCode": "7010Z",
  "nafDescription": "Activités des sièges sociaux",
  "address": "2 PLACE JEAN MILLIER, LA DEFENSE 6",
  "postalCode": "92400",
  "city": "COURBEVOIE",
  "capital": "5704141785 €",
  "creationDate": "1991-02-12",
  "status": "Active",
  "directors": [
    {
      "name": "Patrick POUYANNE",
      "role": "Président du conseil d'administration",
      "appointmentDate": "2015-12-29"
    }
  ],
  "sourceUrl": "https://www.societe.com/societe/totalenergies-se-542051180.html"
}
```

### Price

Price per result: **$0 in Actor event fees per dataset item.** This Actor does not call a custom charge event. Standard Apify platform compute and dataset storage charges may apply to a run.

Societe.com is the source for all company and mandate data. The Actor does not log in or request paid company records.
