## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Työmarkkinatori.fi Scraper - Finland Jobs

Extract structured job postings from [Työmarkkinatori.fi](https://tyomarkkinatori.fi) (Job Market Finland), the official Finnish government job board. Search by keyword and filter by municipality, region, employment type, work time, posting language and publication date. No login and no API key required.

### What it collects

For every posting you get the title (in all published languages), employer name and business ID, publication date and application deadline, municipalities and regions, employment relationship, continuity of work (permanent / temporary) and work time with readable labels, and the application page when the employer provides one. With **Fetch full details** switched on you also get the full description (Markdown and plain text), ESCO occupations and skills, work and posting languages, number of open positions and wage / part-time / application notes.

Only data that the site publishes is returned. Fields the employer left empty are `null` or empty - nothing is guessed.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `query` | string | `developer` (prefill) | Free-text search, e.g. `lähihoitaja`. Empty = all postings. |
| `municipalities` | array | `[]` | Municipality codes, e.g. `["091"]` Helsinki, `["837"]` Tampere. |
| `regions` | array | `[]` | Region codes, e.g. `["01"]` Uusimaa. |
| `employmentRelationships` | array | `[]` | `01` employment, `02` public service, `03` commission, `04` entrepreneurship. |
| `continuityOfWork` | array | `[]` | `01` permanent, `02` temporary. |
| `workTimes` | array | `[]` | `01` full-time, `02` part-time. |
| `postingLanguages` | array | `[]` | Language of the posting: `fi`, `sv`, `en`. |
| `sorting` | string | `LATEST` | `LATEST`, `MOST_RELEVANT` or `CLOSING`. |
| `daysOld` | integer | `0` | Only postings published within the last N days (0 = off). |
| `fetchDetails` | boolean | `true` | Load the full description and details (one extra request per posting). |
| `startUrls` | array | `[]` | Specific posting URLs (`https://tyomarkkinatori.fi/henkiloasiakkaat/avoimet-tyopaikat/<id>`). Skips the search. |
| `maxResults` | integer | `50` | Maximum number of postings to return (the site exposes at most 10,000 per query). |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | no proxy | Optional Apify Proxy settings; the public API normally works without one. |

Open the dataset **Overview** view for a compact table, or export the full records as JSON, CSV or Excel.

### Pricing

Pay-per-result: you are charged per job posting saved to the dataset, nothing else. Set **Max results** to cap your spend exactly. Current price per 1,000 results is shown on the Actor's pricing tab.

### Notes

- Data comes from the same public JSON endpoints the Työmarkkinatori.fi website itself uses; requests are kept light (a few parallel detail requests).
- Postings can be withdrawn by the employer at any time, so a small share of links may expire shortly after scraping.
- Recruiter contact persons are intentionally not collected.
