## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## AutoScout24 Car Monitor — EU-Wide Listing & Price-Cut Alerts

Monitor AutoScout24 across European markets — **new listings, price cuts, mileage, first registration, fuel, power, seller** — sorted newest-first, plus a **watch mode built for scheduled dealer/exporter intelligence**. No login, no API key.

Car exporters and dealers live on cross-border arbitrage — the same 911 that's €95k in Germany lists at €79k in Italy. Poll your specs on a schedule and catch new listings and price cuts before the market moves.

### What you can do

| Mode | What it does | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| `search` | Listings by make/model/market **or a pasted AutoScout24 search URL** — price, was-price, mileage, first reg, fuel, gearbox, power, seller, location | Inventory scans, comp pricing |
| `watch` | Sweeps a **list of specs/URLs across markets** each run, emitting `listing_snapshot` rows newest-first | Scheduled new-listing + price-cut alerts |

### Example inputs

```json
{ "mode": "search", "searchUrl": "https://www.autoscout24.de/lst/porsche/911?sort=age&desc=1&atype=C&priceto=80000" }
```

```json
{ "mode": "watch", "queries": [
  { "make": "bmw", "model": "m4", "market": "de", "priceTo": 60000 },
  { "make": "porsche", "model": "911", "market": "it" },
  "https://www.autoscout24.fr/lst/audi/rs6?sort=age&desc=1"
] }
```

### Example output

```json
{
  "recordType": "listing_snapshot",
  "listingId": "80bfe8e1-45e6-449f-abfd-6a06b6848185",
  "title": "Porsche 911 GT3",
  "priceFormatted": "€ 209.900",
  "oldPrice": null,
  "priceDropped": false,
  "make": "Porsche",
  "model": "911",
  "fuel": "Benzin",
  "transmission": "Automatik",
  "powerHp": 510,
  "firstRegistration": "05/2023",
  "mileageKm": 1500,
  "sellerType": "dealer",
  "country": "DE",
  "city": "Osnabrück",
  "url": "https://www.autoscout24.de/angebote/porsche-911-911-gt3-...",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-17T20:30:00Z"
}
```

### Pricing

Flat pay-per-event: **$0.001 per listing row** — 10 spec watches polled hourly ≈ 43k rows/mo ≈ **$43/mo** for always-on EU coverage. One export deal pays for years.

### FAQ

**How do filters work?** Two ways: (1) paste any `autoscout24.<tld>/lst/...` URL — build filters on the site, we use them verbatim; (2) `make`/`model`/`market` + `priceTo`/`mileageTo`/`firstRegistrationFrom`/`fuel` shortcuts.

**Which markets?** `.de .fr .it .es .be .nl .at .pl` + international `.com`. Switzerland (`.ch`) is bot-walled — skip it or use a residential proxy there.

**Price-cut detection?** Yes — `oldPrice`/`oldPriceFormatted` + `priceDropped: true` fire when a listing carries a reduced price (AutoScout24's "Super Price" label).

**Why aren't some boosted listings respecting my filter?** Paid "T50" promoted placements appear regardless of filters — they're marked and can be ignored by `price` range in your pipeline.

**Why the residential proxy?** Some markets rate-limit datacenter IPs — the actor defaults to Apify Residential (billed separately by Apify at bandwidth rates; ~1 MB/run).

**Is it legal?** We collect only publicly accessible listing pages. Respect AutoScout24's Terms of Service and applicable rules in your jurisdiction.

# Actor input Schema

## `mode` (type: `string`):

'search' listings by make/model/market or a full AutoScout24 search URL (newest first), or 'watch' sweeps a list of specs/URLs for scheduled alerts.

## `searchUrl` (type: `string`):

Paste any autoscout24.<tld>/lst/... URL — build your filters on AutoScout24 (price, km, fuel, year, body) and the actor uses them exactly.

## `make` (type: `string`):

Car make — 'bmw', 'porsche', 'audi', 'mercedes-benz'. Used with model/market when no searchUrl given.

## `model` (type: `string`):

Model slug — '3-series', '911', 'golf', 'a4'. Leave empty for all models of the make.

## `market` (type: `string`):

Country site: de, fr, it, es, be, nl, at, pl, com (international). Note: .ch (Switzerland) is bot-walled.

## `priceTo` (type: `integer`):

Maximum listing price filter (used when building the search from make/model — ignored if searchUrl is set).

## `mileageTo` (type: `integer`):

Maximum odometer filter (make/model mode only).

## `firstRegistrationFrom` (type: `string`):

Earliest first-registration year, e.g. '2020' (make/model mode only).

## `fuel` (type: `string`):

Fuel code: B (petrol), D (diesel), E (electric), 2 (hybrid), L (LPG), C (CNG), H (hydrogen), O (other) — make/model mode only.

## `queries` (type: `array`):

List of specs to sweep each run — each entry is either a full search URL string or {make, model, market, priceTo...}. Example: \["https://www.autoscout24.de/lst/bmw/m4?sort=age\&desc=1", {"make": "porsche", "model": "911", "market": "fr"}]

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Maximum listings per spec (~20 per page).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy — residential recommended (enabled by default) since AutoScout24 rate-limits datacenter IPs on some markets.
