## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## YouTube Channel Business Email Finder

Get the **business contact email** of YouTube creators from a list of channels. Paste channel URLs, @handles or
channel IDs and get back the email (when the creator publishes one) plus channel name, handle, subscribers,
country, total views and video count.

**You pay only for emails found: $0.10 per email.** Channels without an email, invalid input and anything not
processed are free.

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `channels` | Up to 1000 per run. Accepts `https://www.youtube.com/@name`, `/channel/UC…`, `/c/…`, `/user/…`, `@handle` or a 24-character channel ID. |

```json
{ "channels": ["@MrBeast", "https://www.youtube.com/@TheDiaryOfACEO", "UCX6OQ3DkcsbYNE6H8uQQuVA"] }
```

### Output

One row per channel:

```json
{
  "Query": "@MrBeast",
  "ChannelId": "UCX6OQ3DkcsbYNE6H8uQQuVA",
  "ChannelName": "MrBeast",
  "ChannelHandle": "@MrBeast",
  "Email": "…",
  "Status": "EMAIL_AVAILABLE",
  "SubscriberCount": 400000000,
  "Country": "US",
  "TotalViews": 80000000000,
  "TotalVideosCount": 900
}
```

| Status | Meaning | Charged |
|---|---|---|
| `EMAIL_AVAILABLE` | Email found | $0.10 |
| `EMAIL_NOT_FOUND` | The channel has no public business email | free |
| `EMAIL_PENDING` | Lookup still in progress; run the channel again later | free |
| `INVALID_INPUT` | Not a YouTube channel (e.g. a video link) | free |
| `NOT_PROCESSED` | Not looked up this time (spending limit or temporary capacity limit); run again | free |

### Tips

- Recently looked-up channels return in seconds. Fresh lookups can take several minutes, so give big lists a
  long run timeout (the default is 1 hour).
- Set **Maximum cost per run** to cap spend: the Actor stops delivering emails when the limit is reached.
- Export results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or use them through the Apify API and integrations.

### Use cases

Influencer outreach, sponsorship prospecting, agency lead lists, creator partnerships.

### Responsible use

Use the emails only for relevant business contact and follow the anti-spam and data-protection laws that apply to
you (for example GDPR and CAN-SPAM). Creators who want their data removed can contact us through the Actor's
Issues tab.
