$2.00 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Workday Jobs Scraper & API

Give a list of Workday career sites and get their open jobs. Many large employers post on Workday (addresses that end in `myworkdayjobs.com`). The data comes from the same public JSON that the career site itself loads, so a run does not depend on page layouts. Each site's robots.txt is read first, and a site that disallows it is skipped.

### Input

- Career sites: Workday career site URLs, up to 200, for example `https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite`. A language part such as `/en-US/` is fine.
- Jobs per site: the most jobs to return for each site. Workday lists at most 2,000 jobs for one search; use search text to narrow a very large site.
- Search text: Workday's own search, for example `data engineer`.
- Posted within days: only jobs posted in the last N days (0 is today). Workday shows older jobs as 30+ days.
- Include details: open each job's page for the description and the fields below (on by default; off is faster).

### Output

One row per job:

| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
| status | `ok` for a job |
| company, career_site | The Workday tenant and the career site name |
| title, location, additional_locations, country | The job title and its locations |
| posted, posted_days_ago | Workday's posted text, for example Posted Today, and the days as a number |
| start_date, time_type, remote_type | As the company set them (details only) |
| job_req_id | The company's requisition id |
| url | The job page |
| description | The description as plain text (details only) |

A site that is not a Workday career site, does not answer, is disallowed by its robots.txt, or has no job that matches the filters gets one row with a `status` (`invalid_input`, `site_not_found`, `error`, `robots_disallowed` or `no_matching_jobs`) and a message. Those rows are free.

### Price

One `job` event for each job returned, at the price shown on this page. Rows that report a problem cost nothing. When the run's spending limit is reached, the run stops and keeps the jobs it already has.

### Limits

- Only public Workday career sites. Jobs a company does not post on its site are not included.
- With details on, each job is one more request, so a site with 1,000 jobs takes a few minutes.

# Actor input Schema

## `careerSites` (type: `array`):

Workday career site URLs, for example https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite, up to 200.

## `maxJobsPerSite` (type: `integer`):

The most jobs to return for each career site, in Workday's order (newest first on most sites). Workday lists at most 2,000.

## `searchText` (type: `string`):

Workday's own job search, for example data engineer. Leave empty for every job.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Return only jobs posted in this many days (0 is today). Workday shows 30+ for older jobs.

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Open each job's page for the description, country, time type, remote type, start date and extra locations. Off is faster.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "careerSites": [
    "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite"
  ],
  "maxJobsPerSite": 10,
  "includeDetails": true
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

Get the open jobs from the public Workday career sites you list: title, location, extra locations, country, time type, remote type, start date, requisition id, link and the description as plain text. Search and posting date filters. Robots.txt respected.

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "careerSites": [
        "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite"
    ],
    "maxJobsPerSite": 10
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("brightgro/workday-jobs").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
