## Pricing

from $2.10 / 1,000 recalls

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## France Product Recalls (RappelConso) Monitor

Get **every official product recall in France** from **RappelConso**, the government recall portal: food, baby products, toys, cars, cosmetics, electrical appliances and more. Filter by **keyword, brand, category or retailer**, and turn on **“only new since last run”** to receive alerts on a schedule.

### Who is it for?

- **Shops, restaurants & canteens** – be alerted the same day when a product you sell or serve is recalled.
- **Brands & quality teams** – watch recalls in your category and on competitors.
- **Retail & marketplace sellers** – check your catalog against recalled GTIN/EAN codes.
- **Media & consumer apps** – publish recall news automatically.
- **Parents & families** – get alerts for baby and children products.

### What data do you get?

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `productName`, `brand`, `category`, `subcategory` | What is recalled |
| `reason`, `risks`, `riskDetails` | Why (e.g. listeria, salmonella, choking hazard) |
| `whatToDo`, `healthAdvice`, `compensation` | What consumers should do |
| `productIdentifiers` | GTIN/EAN barcodes, lot numbers, best-before dates |
| `distributors`, `salesArea` | Where it was sold |
| `soldFrom`, `soldUntil`, `recallEndsAt` | Key dates |
| `imageUrls`, `posterPdfUrl`, `recallUrl` | Product photos, official poster, official page |

Export as JSON, CSV or Excel, or send new recalls to Slack, email, Google Sheets, Make or Zapier.

### How to use

Example – food recalls mentioning listeria in the last 30 days:

```json
{
  "keywords": ["listeria"],
  "categories": ["alimentation"],
  "publishedLastDays": 30
}
```

#### Get alerts

1. Set your filters and turn on **Only new recalls since last run**.
2. Create a **Schedule** (e.g. every hour or every morning).
3. Add an integration (email, Slack, webhook). Each run only returns recalls you have not seen yet.

Use a different **Monitor name** for each saved search.

### Pricing

You pay a small fee per recall returned. Monitoring runs that find nothing new return nothing and cost almost nothing.

### Data source & license

Data comes from the official **RappelConso** dataset (DGCCRF / DGAL) published on [data.economie.gouv.fr](https://data.economie.gouv.fr/explore/dataset/rappelconso-v2-gtin-espaces/) under the **Licence Ouverte v2.0 (Etalab)**, which allows commercial reuse with attribution. Every result includes a `source` field with this attribution. Texts are kept as published (in French).

This Actor is not affiliated with the French government.
