## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

**Leads Finder** is an **Apollo alternative** that pulls B2B leads with work emails from a database of **380M+ professional profiles, 66M+ of them with a work email**. Filter by job title, seniority, department, industry, company size, revenue, company keywords and location, and get each lead with its email, LinkedIn URL and company details. It costs **$0.475 per 1,000 leads**, on every Apify plan.

### What data does each lead include?

- Name, job title, seniority, department and LinkedIn profile URL
- Work email, plus a mobile number and personal email where we have them
- **Email status and the date it was checked** by our mailbox checker, so you can see which emails were confirmed
- Company name, domain, website, LinkedIn page, phone, industry, size, revenue, funding, founding year and location

### How to find leads

1. Enter one or more **Job titles** (for example CEO, Head of Marketing).
2. Add any other filters: seniority, industry, country, state, city, company size, revenue or company keywords.
3. Set **Max leads** and click **Start**.

Only leads with a work email are returned. Leads come in a stable order, so the same search returns the same people.

### Output example

```json
{
  "full_name": "Jane Doe",
  "title": "VP of Marketing",
  "email": "jane.doe@acme.com",
  "email_status": "valid",
  "email_checked_at": "2026-10-30T09:12:00.000Z",
  "linkedin_url": "http://www.linkedin.com/in/janedoe",
  "company_name": "Acme Inc",
  "company_domain": "acme.com",
  "company_size": "201-500",
  "country": "United States"
}
```

### How much does it cost?

**$0.475 per 1,000 leads**, the same price on the free plan and on every paid plan. 10,000 leads cost $4.75. Set a maximum cost per run in Apify and the run stops there.

### What does email_status mean?

- **valid:** our checker confirmed the mailbox exists
- **catch_all:** the domain accepts every address
- **invalid:** the mailbox no longer exists. These leads are left out of your results and never charged, unless you turn on "Include leads whose email failed our check"
- **not_checked_yet:** waiting for its first check; the status appears on later runs

### FAQ

**Is this an Apollo alternative?** Yes. You can search by the same kinds of filters and export emails without seat pricing or export credits.

**Is there a limit per run?** No fixed limit; set Max leads to what you need.
