## Pricing

from $0.05 / 1,000 businesses

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

**Local Business Leads** is a **Google Maps scraper alternative**: no live scraping, just local businesses with **email, phone, website and a named contact person** where we have one, from a database of **68M+ businesses**. Search by business type and city, ZIP, state or country. It costs **$0.074 per 1,000 businesses**, contacts included.

### What data does each business include?

- Business name, category, address, city, state, ZIP and country
- Phone number and website
- Emails found for the business, and the email check status
- **Contact person:** name, job title, email, LinkedIn and mobile where known
- Rating and review count where available, plus map coordinates

### How to get local business leads

1. Enter the **Business type** (dentist, roofing contractor, coffee shop).
2. Enter one or more **Locations** (Austin, TX or a ZIP code).
3. Tick **Only businesses with an email** or **Only with a named contact person** if you only want those.
4. Set **Max businesses** and click **Start**.

### Output example

```json
{
  "name": "Lakeway Family Dental",
  "category": "Dentist",
  "city": "Austin",
  "state": "TX",
  "phone": "+1 512-555-0142",
  "website": "https://lakewaydental.example",
  "emails": "office@lakewaydental.example",
  "rating": 4.8,
  "reviews": 212,
  "contact_full_name": "Sarah Kim",
  "contact_job_title": "Owner"
}
```

### How much does it cost?

**$0.074 per 1,000 businesses**, with emails and contact people included in that price. 5,000 businesses cost $0.37.

### How is this different from a Google Maps scraper?

A Maps scraper visits Google Maps for every search and charges extra for emails and contacts. This actor answers from a ready database with emails and contacts included, so a search of thousands of businesses finishes in seconds.

### FAQ

**Is this a Google Maps scraper?** It is an alternative to one: the businesses are already in our database, so there is no live scraping or waiting, and contacts are included.

**Which countries are covered?** Businesses in most countries, with the most in the US.

**Can I filter by rating?** Yes, with Min rating and Min reviews. Only businesses that carry a rating match those filters.
