## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Judge.me Shopify Reviews Scraper + Imported Review Check

Paste Shopify store URLs and get **every Judge.me review** of each store in one table: star rating, review text, product, date, photos, verified-buyer flag and whether the store replied.

You also get **one summary row per store** that answers the questions a review list alone doesn't:

- **How many reviews were imported?** Judge.me marks reviews that were brought in from another source, for example a supplier marketplace. A store where nearly all reviews are imported has little real customer feedback yet.
- **How many come from verified buyers?**
- **Is the store still getting reviews?** Reviews in the last 30 and 90 days, newest review date.
- **Which products get the most reviews?** Top 5 by review count.
- **Red flags**: mostly imported reviews, under 10% verified buyers, reviews bunched on a few dates, no new review in 90 days.

Reviewer names are reduced to an initial (for example "M."). No personal data is collected.

**Try it on 3 stores for about $0.30** with the pre-filled input. Stores that don't use Judge.me are listed with the review app they do use (Loox, Yotpo, Okendo, Stamped and more), free of charge.

### Who uses it

- **Dropshippers and product researchers**: read what buyers complain about (`ratingFilter: negative`) before you sell the same product, and see which products in a competitor's store collect the most reviews.
- **Agencies**: spot stores with imported or stale reviews and offer a review-collection or retention service with real numbers in the first message.
- **Brands**: monitor your own or a competitor's review flow every week with Apify Schedules.
- **Analysts and investors**: compare real customer traction across many stores at once.

### How to run it

1. Paste store URLs (three are pre-filled, so you can just press Start).
2. Set `maxReviewsPerStore` (newest first) and, if you want, `ratingFilter`.
3. Turn on `summaryOnly` if you only need the store-level numbers.
4. Press **Start** and download Excel, CSV or JSON, or use the API.

### Output

Each review row:

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `domain`, `date`, `rating` | gravixcar.com · 2026-10-21 · 1 |
| `productTitle`, `productUrl` | GRAVIX RC Hyper Car |
| `title`, `text` | "Very cheaply made. The plate for the battery compartment didn't have a screw…" |
| `verifiedBuyer` | true |
| `importedFromOtherSource` | false |
| `photoCount`, `hasVideo` | 0 · false |
| `storeReplied` | false |
| `reviewerInitial`, `location` | R. |

Each store summary row:

```json
{
  "type": "store-summary",
  "url": "https://klarohouse.com",
  "totalReviews": 1494,
  "reviewsSampled": 100,
  "averageRating": 4.24,
  "ratingDistribution": {"5": 72, "4": 10, "3": 0, "2": 6, "1": 12},
  "importedSharePct": 100.0,
  "verifiedBuyerSharePct": 0.0,
  "withPhotoSharePct": 26.0,
  "reviewsLast30Days": 22,
  "reviewsLast90Days": 100,
  "newestReviewDate": "2026-10-06",
  "topReviewedProducts": [{"product": "Klaro's Mini Bag Sealer", "reviews": 34}],
  "flags": ["Most sampled reviews were imported from another source (e.g. a supplier marketplace)"]
}
```

The summary percentages are calculated from the reviews collected in the run (newest first, up to `maxReviewsPerStore`). `totalReviews` is the store's full count from Judge.me.

### Pricing

| Event | Price |
|---|---|
| Review saved | $1.00 per 1,000 reviews ($0.001 each) |
| Store summary | $0.005 per store |

Examples: 10 stores × 100 reviews = $1.05. Summary only for 100 stores (100 reviews sampled each) = $0.50. Stores without Judge.me and unreachable sites are free.

### Good to know

- Only stores that use **Judge.me** return reviews. It is the most widely used review app on Shopify. Support for Loox, Yotpo and Okendo is planned; the free "not-checked" row already tells you which app a store uses.
- Reviews come from the same public feed the store's own "All reviews" page loads for every visitor. Nothing behind a login is touched.
- "Imported" is Judge.me's own label. An imported review isn't necessarily fake: stores move reviews from an old app or from a supplier. Treat the share as a signal of how much feedback came from the store's own customers.
- Review text is returned as written, in any language.

### FAQ

**Can I get reviews for a single product?**
Run the store and filter by `productUrl` or `productTitle`. Reviews come newest first across the whole store.

**How many reviews can I get per store?**
Up to 10,000 per store per run.

**Can I run it on a schedule?**
Yes. Use Apify Schedules to collect new reviews every week and track the review flow over time.

**Something wrong or missing?**
Open an issue on the Issues tab with the store URL.
