## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## 🌍 Remote Jobs Aggregator - 6 Boards, De-duplicated, Salary

**Search six remote-job boards in one run and get one clean list:** Himalayas, Remotive, Jobicy, Remote OK, We Work
Remotely and Working Nomads. The same job posted on several boards appears **once** (with `alsoOn` listing the
others). Every row has the same fields whatever board it came from: title, company and logo, category, tags, job type,
seniority, **where you can work from** (country / region / timezone limits), **salary** (min, max, currency, period and
an **annualized** range), posted date, plain-text description, apply URL and the source board.

What we add on top:

- **Cross-board de-duplication** and field merging (salary from one board, seniority from another).
- **Region filter** that reads each job's location limits: worldwide, USA, Canada, Europe, UK, LATAM, APAC, Africa.
- **Annualized salary** and a `minSalary` filter; **department**, **seniority class** and **tech stack** from the text.
- Keyword relevance check: boards that match loosely are filtered so every row really mentions your keyword.

### 📥 Input

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `keywords` | e.g. `["python", "product designer"]`; empty = newest jobs everywhere |
| `maxJobs` | total jobs returned, newest first |
| `sources` | which boards (default all six) |
| `regions`, `postedWithinDays`, `minSalary`, `onlyWithSalary`, `excludeKeywords` | filters |

```json
{ "keywords": ["react", "frontend"], "regions": ["europe", "worldwide"], "postedWithinDays": 14, "maxJobs": 300 }
```

### 📤 Output (one job, shortened)

```json
{ "title": "Senior IT Operations Engineer", "company": "BigID", "location": "USA", "jobType": "Full-Time", "seniority": "Senior",
  "annualSalaryMin": 145000, "annualSalaryMax": 165000, "currency": "USD", "postedAt": "2026-10-22T20:38:09+00:00",
  "sourceName": "Jobicy", "alsoOn": ["himalayas"], "url": "https://jobicy.com/jobs/...", "department": "IT",
  "techStack": {"cloud & infra": ["aws", "terraform"]} }
```

### 💡 Uses

- **Remote job boards and newsletters**: one feed instead of six, already de-duplicated.
- **Job seekers**: every remote role for your stack and region, newest first, with salaries.
- **Recruiters and sales**: companies hiring remotely right now, by function and tech.

### 💰 Pricing

Pay per job returned (`job` event). Empty searches are free.
