## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

2. Tür "Otomatik" kalabilir. 10 haneli rakam VKN, ülke koduyla başlayan değer IBAN sayılır.
3. Start'a basın. Sonuç Dataset sekmesinde tablo olarak görünür; özet `SUMMARY` kaydındadır.

### Girdi

| Alan | Açıklama |
|---|---|
| `values` | Değer listesi, her öğe bir değer |
| `valuesText` | Yapıştırılmış metin, her satır bir değer |
| `defaultType` | `auto`, `vkn` veya `iban`. Varsayılan: `auto` |

### Örnek sonuç

Aşağıdaki çıktı, actor'ün yerel testinden alınmıştır.

```json
[
  { "index": 1, "input": "1111111114", "type": "vkn", "valid": true, "reason": null },
  { "index": 2, "input": "TR330006100519786457841326", "type": "iban", "valid": true,
    "formatted": "TR33 0006 1005 1978 6457 8413 26",
    "details": { "country": "TR", "length": 26, "bankCode": "00061" } },
  { "index": 3, "input": "1111111115", "type": "vkn", "valid": false,
    "reason": "Kontrol hanesi hatalı. / Check digit mismatch." },
  { "index": 4, "input": "not-a-number", "type": "unknown", "valid": false,
    "reason": "Tür belirlenemedi. 10 haneli VKN veya IBAN girin. / Could not detect type." }
]
```

### Fiyat

## Turkish Tax Number (VKN) and IBAN Validator

Bulk-check Turkish tax identification numbers (VKN) and IBANs in your accounting, e-commerce or CRM data. Catch typos before sending invoices or payments.

All checks run offline. No external service is called and your values are not sent anywhere.

### What it checks

- **VKN**: 10 digits and the check digit. Spaces, dots and dashes are stripped.
- **IBAN**: format, MOD-97 checksum and the 26-character length for Turkey. Turkish IBANs also return the bank code and account number as separate fields. IBANs from other countries are checked with the checksum.
- A Turkish and English reason for every failure.

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `values` | List of values, one per entry |
| `valuesText` | Pasted text, one value per line |
| `defaultType` | `auto`, `vkn` or `iban`. Default: `auto` |

### Output

- Dataset: one item per value with `type`, `valid`, `normalized`, `reason` and `details`.
- Key-value store: `SUMMARY` with counts of valid and invalid values.

### Pricing

Pay per event. Each checked value is one `value-checked` event.

### Limitations

- This is a **checksum** check. It does not confirm that a number exists or belongs to a taxpayer or account.
- No bank-name lookup, only the bank code.
- Turkish national ID numbers are not checked.
- For official confirmation, use the Turkish Revenue Administration or your bank.
