## Pricing

from $1.05 / 1,000 job scrapeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Remote Jobs Aggregator: 6 Official Job Board Feeds

Get fresh remote job listings from six popular remote job boards in one clean, consistent table:

- **RemoteOK**
- **Remotive**
- **We Work Remotely**
- **Himalayas**
- **Jobicy**
- **Arbeitnow** (only listings marked as remote)

The tool reads only the **public APIs and RSS feeds that these boards publish for sharing their jobs**. It does not crawl web pages. Every job is converted to the same set of fields. The same job posted on several boards is merged into one row, with a list of the other boards it appeared on. Salaries are put into one format (minimum, maximum, currency, period). You can filter by keyword, posting date and minimum salary.

The output contains **job and company information only**. The tool does not collect recruiter names, emails or phone numbers.

### Price

**$0.0015 per job saved** ($1.50 per 1,000 jobs). You pay only for jobs written to your dataset. The **Max results** setting caps both the output size and the cost.

### Typical uses

- A daily feed of new remote developer, design, marketing or support jobs for a newsletter, Slack channel or job site, with a link back to the original board.
- Salary research on remote roles across several boards at once.
- Tracking which companies are hiring remotely, and for what roles.
- Personal job hunting with your own keyword and salary filters.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| `sources` | list | all six | Which boards to read. Options: `remoteok`, `remotive`, `weworkremotely`, `himalayas`, `jobicy`, `arbeitnow`. If two boards list the same job, the board that comes first in this list is used as the main record. |
| `keywords` | list | empty | Keeps only jobs whose title, tags, category or description contain **any** of these words. Matching ignores upper and lower case. Leave empty to keep all jobs. |
| `excludeKeywords` | list | empty | Drops jobs whose **title** contains any of these words, for example `senior` or `intern`. |
| `postedWithinDays` | number | 30 | Keeps only jobs posted in the last N days. `0` turns this filter off. |
| `minSalary` | number | 0 | Keeps only jobs whose stated top salary, converted to a yearly figure, is at least this amount. Jobs with no stated salary are dropped while this filter is on. `0` turns it off. |
| `deduplicate` | true/false | true | Merges the same job found on several boards into one row. |
| `includeDescription` | true/false | true | Includes the job description as plain text. Turn it off for smaller, lighter output. |
| `maxItems` | number | 50 | The most jobs to save. This also caps the cost. |

#### Example input

```json
{
  "sources": ["remoteok", "remotive", "jobicy"],
  "keywords": ["developer"],
  "postedWithinDays": 30,
  "deduplicate": true,
  "includeDescription": false,
  "maxItems": 10
}
```

### Output

Each job is one row with these fields:

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `jobId` | Stable ID made from the board name and that board's own job ID. |
| `source` | The board this record was taken from. |
| `alsoFoundOn` | Other boards listing the same job. Filled only when deduplication is on. |
| `title` | Job title. |
| `company` | Hiring company. |
| `companyLogo` | Company logo URL, if the board provides one. |
| `url` | Link to the job page on the source board. |
| `applyUrl` | Direct application link, if the board provides one. |
| `postedAt` | Posting date and time (ISO 8601, UTC). |
| `location` | Location or region restriction, for example `Worldwide` or `USA Only`. |
| `jobType` | Employment type, for example `full-time` or `contract`. |
| `category` | Category or department. |
| `tags` | Skill or topic tags. |
| `salaryMin` / `salaryMax` | Salary range as numbers. |
| `salaryCurrency` | Currency code, for example `USD` or `EUR`. |
| `salaryPeriod` | `year`, `month`, `week`, `day` or `hour`. |
| `description` | Job description as plain text. Empty if `includeDescription` is off. |
| `scrapedAt` | When the data was collected (ISO 8601, UTC). |

#### Example output row

```json
{
  "jobId": "remoteok-1137498",
  "source": "remoteok",
  "alsoFoundOn": [],
  "title": "Senior Sales Executive Central Region",
  "company": "SimSpace Corporation",
  "companyLogo": null,
  "url": "https://remoteOK.com/remote-jobs/remote-senior-sales-executive-central-region-simspace-corporation-1137498",
  "applyUrl": "https://remoteOK.com/remote-jobs/remote-senior-sales-executive-central-region-simspace-corporation-1137498",
  "postedAt": "2026-10-12T00:00:04Z",
  "location": null,
  "jobType": null,
  "category": null,
  "tags": ["saas", "infosec", "cloud", "senior", "sales"],
  "salaryMin": 145000,
  "salaryMax": 220000,
  "salaryCurrency": "USD",
  "salaryPeriod": "year",
  "description": "SimSpace serves as an AI Proving Ground where organizations can confidently train, test, and outmaneuver adversaries in any environment. ...",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-13T08:00:00Z"
}
```

The tags above are shortened for readability. Real rows contain every tag the board supplies. Fields a board does not provide are `null`.

### How the results are put together

- **Newest first.** All matching jobs are sorted by posting date, newest first, before the `maxItems` limit is applied.
- **Deduplication.** Two listings count as the same job when the company name and job title match after cleanup. Cleanup ignores case, punctuation, words like *Inc* or *LLC*, and the word *Remote* in titles. The record from the board listed first in `sources` is kept. Any fields it lacks, such as salary or logo, are filled in from the duplicates. A company posting the same title several times on one board is not merged.
- **Salaries.** RemoteOK, Jobicy and Himalayas supply salary numbers directly. Remotive gives salary as free text, for example "OTE $25k - $35k", and the tool reads it as well as it can. We Work Remotely and Arbeitnow feeds have no salary field, so their salary fields are empty. Salary figures written inside description text are not used.
- **Clean text.** Descriptions are converted from HTML to plain text. Garbled characters such as broken apostrophes are repaired. RemoteOK's hidden anti-spam tracking line is removed.

### Limits

- Each run reads the current public feed of each board, which holds that board's most recent listings. It does not search a board's full archive. Per run, the tool reads:
  - one request each for RemoteOK, Remotive, We Work Remotely and Jobicy (Jobicy returns its 50 newest jobs)
  - up to 5 pages of 20 jobs from Himalayas
  - up to 3 pages from Arbeitnow
- Remotive delays the jobs in its public feed by about 24 hours.
- The salary filter compares numbers as stated and does **not** convert currencies. A EUR 60,000 job passes a `minSalary` of 60000 just as a USD 60,000 job does.
- Hourly, weekly and monthly salaries are converted to yearly figures for the filter only: 2,080 hours, 52 weeks or 12 months per year. The output keeps the original figures.
- If a board is down, rate-limits the run or refuses access, that board is skipped with a clear message in the log, and the other boards still deliver results. The tool does not try to get around refusals.
- Field coverage varies by board. For example, Jobicy has no tags and Arbeitnow has no logos.

### Terms and fair use

These boards publish their feeds so that their jobs can be shared, on two conditions: you credit the board as the source, and you link back to the original job page. Every row keeps the original `url` so you can do this. Remotive asks that its feed be read no more than about 4 times a day, so please schedule runs no more than a few times daily. The job listings belong to the boards and the employers who posted them. You are responsible for using the data in line with each board's terms and the laws that apply to you.

# Actor input Schema

## `sources` (type: `array`):

Which boards to pull from. Options: remoteok, remotive, weworkremotely, himalayas, jobicy, arbeitnow.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose title, tags or description contain any of these terms (case-insensitive). Leave empty to keep all jobs.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Include the plain-text job description.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):
