from $3.00 / 1,000 procurement notices

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## EU + UK Public Procurement Notices

One feed for public tenders across Europe: **TED** (Tenders Electronic Daily, every EU/EEA country), **UK Contracts Finder** and **UK Find a Tender**, normalized into the same columns. Filter by publication date, keywords, CPV codes, buyer country and stage (tender, award, planning) and get title, buyer, deadline, estimated value, procedure, CPV codes and a link to the notice.

All three sources are official government APIs. No browser, no proxies, no account.

### What you get

```json
{
  "source": "ted",
  "noticeId": "722691-2026",
  "ocid": null,
  "stage": "tender",
  "noticeType": "cn-standard",
  "title": "Germany – Road construction works – Schnittstelle Bahnhof Bitterfeld Objekt 1+5",
  "description": "Asphalt fräsen ca. 1.580 m² ...",
  "buyerName": "Stadt Bitterfeld-Wolfen",
  "buyerCountry": "DEU",
  "buyerCity": "Bitterfeld-Wolfen",
  "publishedAt": "2026-10-20",
  "deadline": "2026-11-24+01:00",
  "cpvCodes": ["45233120", "45247110", "34993000"],
  "category": "works",
  "procedureType": "open",
  "estimatedValue": null,
  "currency": null,
  "placeOfPerformance": ["DEE05", "DEU"],
  "url": "https://ted.europa.eu/en/notice/722691-2026",
  "language": null,
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-22T19:04:11+00:00"
}
```

UK rows carry `ocid`, `language`, and `estimatedValue`/`currency` when the buyer published them; `buyerCountry` is always `GBR`.

### Input

| Field | Type | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| `sources` | array | `ted`, `uk-contracts-finder`, `uk-find-a-tender`. Empty = all. |
| `stages` | array | `tender` (default), `award`, `planning`. |
| `publishedAfter` / `publishedBefore` | `YYYY-MM-DD` | Default window: last 3 days. |
| `keywords` | array | TED full-text search; UK matched on title, description and buyer. |
| `cpvCodes` | array | Codes or prefixes (`72` = IT services, `45` = construction, `33` = medical). |
| `buyerCountries` | array | ISO alpha-3 for TED (`DEU`, `FRA`, `NLD`...). UK sources run only if empty or containing `GBR`. |
| `maxNoticesPerSource` / `maxNotices` | integer | Caps (0 = unlimited). |

Example – IT tenders in Germany, Netherlands and the UK from the last week:

```json
{
  "sources": ["ted", "uk-contracts-finder", "uk-find-a-tender"],
  "stages": ["tender"],
  "publishedAfter": "2026-10-15",
  "cpvCodes": ["72"],
  "buyerCountries": ["DEU", "NLD", "GBR"]
}
```

### Pricing

Pay per event: **$0.003 per notice** saved ($3 per 1,000), plus Apify's standard Actor start fee. Filters are applied before saving, so you pay only for notices that match. TED alone publishes roughly 2,000–3,000 notices per working day; a CPV- or keyword-filtered daily run is usually 20–200 notices, i.e. a few cents to under a dollar.

### Use cases

- **Bid monitoring**: daily schedule + keywords/CPV → Slack, email or Google Sheets via Apify integrations.
- **Sales intelligence**: which public buyers are procuring your category, and when awards are announced (`stages: ["award"]`).
- **Market research**: contract values and procedure types by country and CPV.
- **AI agents**: array inputs, flat output, PPE pricing; call it through the Apify MCP server.

### How it works

- TED: `POST https://api.ted.europa.eu/v3/notices/search` with an expert query built from your filters (`publication-date`, `notice-type`, `buyer-country`, `classification-cpv`, `FT~` full text), iterated with TED's pagination token.
- UK: the OCDS release endpoints of Contracts Finder (`/Published/Notices/OCDS/Search`) and Find a Tender (`/api/1.0/ocdsReleasePackages`), paged with their `next` cursor links. Keyword and CPV filters are applied to each release.

Requests are rate-limited and retried with back-off. Only organisation-level data (buyers, notices) is returned; contact persons are not extracted.

### FAQ

**Why do TED titles come in English even for a German notice?** TED publishes machine-translated titles in all EU languages; the Actor prefers English, then falls back to the original.

**Deadline missing?** Award and planning notices have none; some tender notices only publish it inside the documents.

**Can I get the full notice text?** Use the `url` field: TED serves HTML, PDF and XML for every notice.

# Actor input Schema

## `sources` (type: `array`):

Which portals to query. Leave empty for all three.

## `stages` (type: `array`):

`tender` = open calls for competition, `award` = contract award notices, `planning` = prior information notices.

## `publishedAfter` (type: `string`):

YYYY-MM-DD. Default: 3 days ago.

## `publishedBefore` (type: `string`):

YYYY-MM-DD (exclusive).

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep notices mentioning any of these words. TED: full-text search on the notice. UK: matched against title, description and buyer name.

## `cpvCodes` (type: `array`):

CPV codes or prefixes, for example `72` (IT services), `45` (construction), `33100000`. A prefix matches every code starting with it.

## `buyerCountries` (type: `array`):

ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 codes for TED, for example `DEU`, `FRA`, `NLD`. UK sources are included only if the list is empty or contains `GBR`.

## `maxNoticesPerSource` (type: `integer`):

0 = no limit.

## `maxScanPerSource` (type: `integer`):

UK portals have no server-side keyword or CPV filter, so the Actor reads releases in the date window and filters them itself. This caps how many are read per source and stage (default 5000). Not charged; only matching notices are.

## `maxNotices` (type: `integer`):

Stop the run after this many notices. 0 = no limit. You pay only for notices saved.
