## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## CineKids AI - Consistent Video Studio

Create original **30-second animated stories with audio**, then continue the story using the previous final frame.

**New video generation is paid: USD19.99 for five reusable video credits. No free new-video generation trial is included.** You can watch the existing Milo demo before buying CineKids credits. The Store's **Try for free** button opens the run form; it does not give you free video credits.

### Watch a real CineKids video

**Milo and the Glowing Seed** is a real 30-second AI-generated example with Italian narration, created with MiniMax H3 Max Turbo through fal.ai. Watch the result before buying video credits.

### Five video credits, USD19.99

A one-time pack gives **five credits to use in separate runs**. Each new 30-second episode uses one credit, including a continuation or a newly generated revision. Credits stay with your Apify account. No monthly renewal, automatic customer recharge or expiry in this version.

A **paid Apify account** is required to buy credits. Free accounts can watch the existing Milo demonstration. You do not need your own fal or OpenAI key.

### Start your story

1. **Watch Milo** to see a real 30-second example.
2. Choose **Buy five video credits**, confirm being 18 or older and confirm USD19.99. Set the maximum charge for the purchase run to at least USD19.99. This separate run does not generate a video.
3. Choose **Create one new 30-second episode**. Describe characters, setting, action, language and audio in two prompts: the first and final 15 seconds. Confirm using one credit.
4. Open **My results and video credits**. Download **MP4**, **final JPEG** and **delivery report** from the output menu. Save your run ID and video archive.
5. Choose **Check my remaining video credits** to see your balance.

Demo, balance and configuration checks do not buy a pack or create a video. Generation spends an existing credit; it never automatically buys a pack. Account subscriptions, taxes and account-level platform charges follow Apify billing.

### Continue with the same character

Choose **Continue a delivered episode**, enter its run ID and select its video archive. Both must belong to your account and this CineKids Actor. Describe what happens next, preserving appearance, setting and format. The previous final JPEG becomes the reference for a new episode.

For example: Milo plants a seed; in the next episode the plant grows and produces a fruit.

Visual references guide consistency. AI can vary in character details, voices, wording and motion; identical identity or perfect dialogue is not guaranteed. Review your video before sharing.

### Video delivery

- **30-second MP4 with audio**, final **JPEG** and **JSON report**.
- Default **768p** refers to the short side; demonstrated vertical output: **768 x 1344 pixels**.
- Vertical, horizontal or square formats in the form. Continuation preserves the reference format.
- Model: **MiniMax H3 Max Turbo through fal.ai**.

An opening plus native extension becomes one 30-second MP4. The bundled demo is compressed to fit the source upload limit, retaining duration and resolution. New outputs are processed separately.

### Recovery and support

Keep a stopped run ID and choose **Recover a saved run**. Recovery reads already submitted requests; it does not create a missing segment, buy a pack or use another credit. Unknown provider outcomes require support reconciliation before replacement. Do not start another paid episode just to recover the first.

For an interrupted purchase, contact support before buying again. Duplicate confirmations of the same verified purchase do not add another five credits.

Refund/dispute requests are reviewed against purchase/delivery records. Contact **mikeleb.1991@gmail.com** with run ID and issue. Never send passwords, keys or full card details.

### Adult creators and appropriate content

For creators **18 or older** making family-friendly stories. Adult confirmation is required for purchases and new generation; this is a self-declaration, not identity verification. Use fictional characters or material you have permission to use. Do not upload private images of children, personal documents or confidential information.

Apify and fal.ai process prompts and visual references. Outputs remain in your Apify storage. Cloudflare and Neon store account/run IDs, purchases, balances and recovery checkpoints. Checkpoints may include prompts/request IDs needed for recovery. Do not submit sensitive content; contact support about your records.

# Actor input Schema

## `mode` (type: `string`):

Watch Milo reuses the existing example; it does not create a new video or grant credits. Buy five credits is a separate USD19.99 purchase. Recovery never submits a missing generation stage.

## `adultConfirmed` (type: `boolean`):

Required before buying credits or creating a new video. This is a self-declaration, not identity verification.

## `paidRenderConfirmed` (type: `boolean`):

Each new 30-second episode, including a continuation, uses one credit. Recovery of an existing paid job uses no extra credit.

## `purchasePackConfirmed` (type: `boolean`):

Only Buy five credits charges USD19.99 once. Requires a paid Apify account and a maximum run charge of at least USD19.99. No automatic renewal; future packs require a separate purchase.

## `openingPrompt` (type: `string`):

Describe the original characters, environment, action, desired language and concise audio. Use family-friendly content and assets you have permission to use.

## `endingPrompt` (type: `string`):

Continue the same action, appearance and environment. Give a clear ending and keep narration short enough for 15 seconds.

## `resolution` (type: `string`):

768p identifies the short side. The demonstrated vertical video is 768 x 1344 pixels.

## `aspectRatio` (type: `string`):

Choose vertical, horizontal or square framing. Continuation must preserve the previous reference format.

## `previousRunId` (type: `string`):

For Continue or Recover: an earlier run of this same Actor belonging to your Apify account. No arbitrary URLs or other customers' runs are accepted.

## `previousStoreId` (type: `string`):

For Continue or Recover: select the previous run archive. Only that archive is read; the Actor keeps Limited permissions and checks its account owner and saved CineKids run identity.
