## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Keller Williams Agents by State

Retrieve Keller Williams (KW) agent records for a selected U.S. state, including contact details, office information, profile links, and social media links where available.

The actor returns records from a previously imported dataset. Results reflect that dataset; running the actor does not refresh profiles from the KW website.

### How to use

1. Enter a two-letter state abbreviation, such as `FL`, `CA`, or `TX`.
2. Set the maximum number of agents, or use `0` to retrieve all available agents for that state.
3. Run the actor and download the results from its Apify dataset.

Lowercase state abbreviations are accepted and converted to uppercase. A state with no matching records returns no new items.

### Input

| Field | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `state` | String | Yes | Two-letter state abbreviation. |
| `maxItems` | Integer | No | Maximum agents to return. Default: `0`, meaning all available agents, subject to the run's paid-result limit. |

Example: retrieve up to 100 agents in Florida.

```json
{
  "state": "FL",
  "maxItems": 100
}
```

### Output

Each dataset item represents one agent. The imported CSV fields are preserved:

| Fields | Information |
| --- | --- |
| `URL`, `photo` | Agent profile URL and photo URL |
| `firstName`, `lastName`, `fullName` | Agent name |
| `Office`, `city`, `state` | Office and location |
| `languages` | Languages listed in the source |
| `email`, `mobilePhone` | Contact details where available |
| `license` | License information |
| `isLuxuryAgent`, `marketingTitle` | Agent classification and title |
| `facebook`, `linkedin`, `twitter`, `youtube`, `instagram` | Social profile links where available |

Values are returned as strings, as imported from the CSV. Empty source fields remain empty strings; this also applies to fields such as `isLuxuryAgent`, which is not converted to a Boolean.

Illustrative output:

```json
{
  "URL": "https://example.com/agents/jane-doe",
  "firstName": "Jane",
  "lastName": "Doe",
  "fullName": "Jane Doe",
  "photo": "",
  "Office": "Example KW Office",
  "city": "Miami",
  "state": "FL",
  "languages": "English",
  "email": "jane@example.com",
  "license": "",
  "mobilePhone": "",
  "isLuxuryAgent": "false",
  "marketingTitle": "",
  "facebook": "",
  "linkedin": "",
  "twitter": "",
  "youtube": "",
  "instagram": ""
}
```

Results can be downloaded in CSV, Excel, JSON, and other formats supported by Apify.

### Availability and limits

- Email addresses, phone numbers, and social links may be missing.
- Selecting a state does not guarantee that every KW agent in that state is present in the imported dataset.
- A configured paid-result cap can stop the run before the requested number of agents is returned.
- Result order is not guaranteed to be alphabetical.

# Actor input Schema

## `state` (type: `string`):

Select the state to retrieve agents from.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

}
```
# Actor output Schema
## `results` (type: `string`):
Keller Williams agents for the selected state, including names, contact details, office information, and social profile links where available.
You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.
## JavaScript example
```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';

// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});

// Prepare Actor input
const input = {};

// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("cleansyntax/keller-williams-agents-list").call(input);

// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
