## Pricing

from $1.00 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Career Site Jobs Scraper: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby & Workday

Get **fresh job listings straight from company career sites**, using the official public job-board feeds that power those career pages. Paste a list of career URLs or board slugs. The Actor **auto-detects the applicant tracking system (ATS)** and returns one clean, flat row per job, with the same columns for every ATS.

**Supported ATS:** Greenhouse · Lever · Ashby · Workday · SmartRecruiters · Recruitee

- ✅ **No login, no cookies, no proxies.** Only public job-board endpoints are used.
- ✅ **One schema for all ATS:** title, location, remote, department, employment type, salary, posted date, apply URL and more.
- ✅ **Salary** when the employer publishes it (Ashby, Lever, Recruitee pay ranges).
- ✅ **Filters:** keywords, excluded words, locations, remote only, departments, employment type, posted since, only jobs with salary.
- ✅ **Optional full description** as plain text and/or HTML.
- ✅ **Polite and reliable:** per-host rate limiting, retries with back-off, and a per-company error report. One bad URL never kills the run.

### Use cases

- **Job boards and aggregators:** build a niche board (AI startups, remote fintech jobs, DACH engineering) from hundreds of companies' own ATS feeds.
- **Sales and lead generation:** hiring signals. Find companies hiring "Data Engineer" or "Head of Security" this week.
- **Recruiting and talent intelligence:** track competitors' open roles, new teams and locations.
- **Market and salary research:** collect published pay ranges by role and location.
- **Job alerts and AI agents:** schedule it daily with `postedSince: "24 hours"` and send new jobs to Slack, Sheets or your LLM pipeline via webhooks, the API or MCP.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `companies` | Career URLs, `ats:slug`, or bare slugs (see below). Optional `Display Name \| source` to set the company name. |
| `keywords` / `excludeKeywords` | Whole-word match on title, department and team (optionally the description). |
| `locations` | Substring match on location/country, e.g. `London`, `Germany`, `Remote`. |
| `remote` | `any`, `remote` (remote only), `notRemote`. |
| `departments`, `employmentTypes` | Department/team substring; `FULL_TIME`, `PART_TIME`, `CONTRACT`, `TEMPORARY`, `INTERN`. |
| `postedSince` | `2026-10-01` or relative: `24 hours`, `7 days`, `2 weeks`. |
| `onlyWithSalary` | Keep only jobs with published pay. |
| `includeDescription`, `descriptionFormat` | Add the full description as `text`, `html` or `both`. |
| `maxResults`, `maxResultsPerCompany` | Limits (newest jobs first). |

|---|---|
| Greenhouse | `https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/stripe`, `https://boards.greenhouse.io/figma`, `greenhouse:stripe` |
| Lever | `https://jobs.lever.co/spotify`, `lever:spotify` (EU boards on `jobs.eu.lever.co` work too) |
| Ashby | `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai`, `ashby:notion` |
| Workday | `https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite` (full URL required) |

| Recruitee | `https://bunq.recruitee.com`, `recruitee:bunq` |
| Company career page | `https://www.figma.com/careers/`: the embedded ATS board link is detected automatically |
| Bare slug | `notion`: probed on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee |

#### Example input

```json
{
  "companies": [
    "https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/stripe",
    "lever:spotify",
    "OpenAI | https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai",
  "excludeKeywords": ["intern"],
  "locations": ["San Francisco", "London", "Remote"],
  "postedSince": "7 days",
  "includeDescription": false,
  "maxResults": 500
}
```

### Output

One row per job (dataset, exportable as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or RSS):

```json
{
  "company": "OpenAI",
  "title": "Software Engineer",
  "location": "San Francisco",
  "locations": ["San Francisco"],
  "country": "United States",
  "remote": false,
  "workplaceType": "hybrid",
  "department": "Research",
  "team": "Alignment",
  "employmentType": "FULL_TIME",
  "employmentTypeRaw": "FullTime",
  "salaryMin": 347000,
  "salaryMax": 385000,
  "salaryCurrency": "USD",
  "salaryInterval": "1 YEAR",
  "salaryText": "$347K – $385K • Offers Equity",
  "postedAt": "2026-10-23T18:55:14Z",
  "updatedAt": null,
  "jobUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai/d95a5b8b-…",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai/d95a5b8b-…/application",
  "ats": "ashby",
  "companySlug": "openai",
  "jobId": "d95a5b8b-…",
  "requisitionId": null,
  "descriptionText": null,
  "descriptionHtml": null,
  "boardUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-24T13:40:00Z"
}
```

A per-company report (`SUMMARY` in the key-value store) lists the detected ATS, jobs scanned, jobs saved and any error message for each input.

### Field availability by ATS

| Field | Greenhouse | Lever | Ashby | Workday | SmartRecruiters | Recruitee |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Salary (structured) | – (often in description) | when set | ✅ often | – | – | when set |
| Department | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | – | ✅ (function) | ✅ |
| Employment type | sometimes | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Remote / workplace | from location | ✅ | ✅ | from location/remote type | ✅ | ✅ |
| Posted date | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ (day precision) | ✅ | ✅ |

### Tips and limitations

- Workday and SmartRecruiters need one extra request per job for descriptions, so leave `includeDescription` off when you only need the job list.
- A company career page is auto-detected only if its HTML links to the ATS board. Pages that load jobs purely with JavaScript need the board URL instead.
- SmartRecruiters returns an empty list (not an error) for unknown company IDs. Check the case, e.g. `BoschGroup`.
- Only publicly listed jobs are returned: no internal, unlisted or login-protected postings.
- The data belongs to the employers. Respect each employer's terms when you republish it.

### FAQ

**Is this legal?** The Actor reads only the public job-board feeds that employers publish so that their jobs can be found and syndicated. It reads job data only, never personal data, and needs no login. You are responsible for how you use the data.

**Can I schedule it?** Yes. Use Apify Schedules with `postedSince: "24 hours"` for daily new-job alerts, and connect webhooks or integrations (Slack, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make).

**Can I search all companies at once?** No. You choose the companies, which keeps the data fresh and complete for those employers. Large lists of hundreds of companies are fine.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One entry per company. Accepts ATS board URLs (https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/stripe, https://jobs.lever.co/spotify, https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai, https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite, https://jobs.smartrecruiters.com/BoschGroup, https://bunq.recruitee.com), a company's own careers page that embeds one of these boards (auto-detected), 'ats:slug' (greenhouse:stripe, lever:spotify, ashby:openai, smartrecruiters:BoschGroup, recruitee:bunq) or a bare slug (probed on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee). Workday always needs the full career-site URL.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title, department or team contains at least one of these words/phrases (case-insensitive, whole word). Empty = all jobs.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these words, e.g. 'senior', 'intern'.

## `searchInDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Search keywords in the full job description too (needs descriptions to be downloaded; slower on Workday/SmartRecruiters).

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose location or country contains one of these strings, e.g. 'London', 'Germany', 'US'. Case-insensitive substring match.

## `remote` (type: `string`):

Filter by remote status. 'Remote only' keeps jobs flagged remote by the ATS or with 'remote' in the location.

## `departments` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose department or team contains one of these strings, e.g. 'Engineering', 'Sales'. Not available for Workday.

## `employmentTypes` (type: `array`):

Keep only these normalised employment types. Empty = all. Jobs with unknown type are dropped when this filter is set.

## `postedSince` (type: `string`):

Only jobs posted on/after this date. Absolute (2026-10-01) or relative (24 hours, 7 days, 2 weeks, 1 month). Jobs without a posting date are dropped when set.

## `onlyWithSalary` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs where the ATS publishes structured salary or a pay summary (mainly Ashby, Lever, Recruitee).

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Add the full job description. Off = smaller, faster output.

## `descriptionFormat` (type: `string`):

Plain text, original HTML, or both.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs in total across all companies. 0 = no limit.

## `maxResultsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Newest jobs first. 0 = no limit.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many companies are processed at the same time.

## `maxConcurrencyPerHost` (type: `integer`):

Politeness limit per ATS host.

## `requestDelaySecs` (type: `number`):

Politeness delay; retries back off exponentially and honour Retry-After.

## `maxJobsScannedPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Safety cap on list pages for very large boards.
