- Form D and Form D/A filings from the public daily form-type indexes (quarter `index.json` listing, `form.YYYYMMDD.idx`) and each filing's `primary_doc.xml`. Dependency-free XML parser.
- Modes: new since last run (named key-value store `us-private-funding-rounds-state`, one record per state name: `doneThrough` day plus accession numbers handled on later days, read-error counter) and date range (2012 onward).
- Filters: pooled investment funds off by default (toggle), industry sector or group, issuer state or country, entity type, exemption, min/max offering amount (Indefinite passes min and fails max), min amount sold, incorporated within five years, amendments include/exclude/only, issuer-name keywords.
- Amendment chains (D → D/A → D/A) collapse to the latest filing within a run (`supersedesInThisRun`); `isAmendment` and `amendsAccessionNumber` on every row.
- Personal data opt-in: related persons (no street), sales-compensation recipients and signer behind `includeRelatedPersons`; issuer street and phone behind `includeIssuerContactDetails`. Placeholders like "N/A", "None" and "--" are cleaned to null.
- Polite: at most 4 requests per second (hard cap 5), up to 3 requests in flight, back-off on 429, 403 and 5xx (2, 4, 8, 16 s, Retry-After honoured) that pauses all requests, and a circuit breaker. The User-Agent contact comes from the `CONTACT_EMAIL` environment variable, which is never logged or output.
- PPE: `offering` $0.002 (Silver $0.0016, Gold and higher $0.0012) plus `apify-actor-start`. Rows are saved first, then charged, within the user's max cost (ChargedSaver).
