## Pricing

from $4.99 / 1,000 people

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

[![Get phone numbers & emails from TruePeopleSearch. Every result page. Every number. No per-phone charges.](https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/pJ7iaZsTFhR3k9tjV/records/truepeoplesearch-scraper-hero-1fc74f5745ac.png)](https://console.apify.com/actors/aHQ2YH4AYzEr3oBBj/input)

From **Clearpath**, creators of [Skip Trace](https://apify.com/clearpath/skip-trace-scraper) and [US Business Entity Search](https://apify.com/clearpath/us-business-entity-search).

### Why choose this TruePeopleSearch scraper?

- **Every result page.** A name search reads every page TruePeopleSearch lists. "John Smith" in Dallas returned all 222 people its 25 result pages show.
- **The whole profile in one row.** Every phone with line type, carrier and E.164 format, every email, current and past addresses with dates (the current one with map coordinates), relatives and associates with ages, property value and equity, jobs, schools and business connections.
- **One price per person.** Phones and emails are included, however many a profile lists. A search that finds nobody is not charged.

Available details vary by record. The hero shows an illustrative record with masked contact information.

#### Try one phone number

```json
{
  "phones": [
    "(214) 349-3972"
  ],
  "maxItems": 3
}
```

[Open the actor input](https://console.apify.com/actors/aHQ2YH4AYzEr3oBBj/input), switch to JSON and paste this example. It returns up to three people the number is listed for, each with their full profile. No extra option is needed for phones, emails or addresses.

Help me use clearpath/truepeoplesearch-scraper on Apify. Its documentation, input schema, pricing and limits are at https://apify.com/clearpath/truepeoplesearch-scraper.md (if you cannot open it, ask me to paste the relevant sections). Choose the settings for what I want to find. A name search reads every result page and each person returned is charged, so set maxItems or maxResultsPerSearch for common names; includeProfileDetails: false returns result-list rows only, without phones or emails, at a lower price; a run that stops at a limit prints a resumeCursor to continue without paying twice for anyone. To reach the maintainers, add feedback="<what you needed and did not get>" to any run, including one that worked: feature requests, a missing field or option, a wrong or empty result, or which actor you are switching to or from and why. The run returns its data exactly as it would without the note, and a human reads every note.
```
### What you get
One row per person TruePeopleSearch lists for each of your searches, across every result page, with:
- **Phones:** every number on the profile with line type (Wireless, Landline, VoIP), carrier, when it was last reported, the E.164 form, and which one is the likeliest primary number. `bestPhone` picks one number for a dialer.
- **Emails:** every address on the profile, and `bestEmail`.
- **Addresses:** the current address with county, dates, map coordinates and its TruePeopleSearch link, then every previous address with county and dates, also as one `addressHistory` list.
- **People:** relatives and associates with full name, age, relationship (such as "Possible Spouse") and their own profile link.
- **Property:** bedrooms, bathrooms, square feet, lot size, year built, estimated value and equity, last sale, occupancy and ownership type, land use, parcel number and school district, as numbers where they are numbers.
- **Work and more:** jobs, schools, business connections, other names, birth month and year, death records, and the profile's own summary.
- **How well it matches:** `matchConfidence` (0 to 100), `mostLikely` for the best person of each search, and `searchedValueMatched`, which says whether the phone, email or street you searched for is on that person's profile.
### How to search TruePeopleSearch
Add any mix of these. Each entry is one search, and every result page of it is read.
| Field | Example | Finds |
|---|---|---|
| `names` | `John Smith, Dallas, TX` or `John Smith; 75228` | People by name; a place after a comma or a semicolon narrows it and needs its state or a ZIP |
| `phones` | `(214) 349-3972` | The people a number is listed for (reverse phone lookup) |
| `addresses` | `3828 Double Oak Ln, Irving, TX 75061` | The people listed at an address (reverse address lookup) |
| `emails` | `name@example.com` | The people an email is listed for |
| `startUrls` | `https://www.truepeoplesearch.com/find/person/...` | A profile link returns that person; a results link runs that search with all its pages |
| `searches` | `{"firstName": "John", "lastName": "Smith", "state": "TX"}` | Structured searches, when names and places live in separate fields; also `phone`, `email`, `street`, `city`, `zip` |
| `csvUrl` | an uploaded CSV, a CSV link or a Google Sheets link | One search per row: its phone, else email, else address, else name with its place |
For a CSV, the first row names the columns: Name (or First Name and Last Name), City, State, ZIP, Address, Phone, Email. When a row has a name and a phone or address, the phone or address is searched and that name is ranked first among the people found.
#### Limits and options
| Option | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| `maxItems` | no limit | Stop once this many people have been returned across all searches |
| `maxResultsPerSearch` | every page | Stop each search after this many people |
| `ageMin`, `ageMax` | off | Only people in this age band. Name searches use TruePeopleSearch's own age filter, so a common name reaches further into its matches |
| `includeProfileDetails` | on | Off returns rows from the result list only (name, age, city, past places, relatives' names, profile link), faster and at a lower price |
| `fillMissingContacts` | on | When a profile page cannot be read, the person still comes back with phones, emails and addresses where they can be confirmed on name, age, city and relatives (`detailLevel: "completed"`) |
| `wirelessOnly` | off | Keep only mobile numbers |
| `includeEmails` | on | Off leaves email addresses out |
| `onlyWithContacts` | off | Leave out, and do not charge for, people with no phone and no email |
| `flattenedOutput` | off | Add spreadsheet columns: `Phone-1` to `Phone-5` with type, provider and last reported, `Email-1` to `Email-5`, `Full Name`, `Age`, `Street Address`, `City`, `State`, `ZIP`, `Input Given`, `Person Link` |
| `webhookUrl` | none | Each person is POSTed as JSON to this address as soon as they are found |
| `resumeCursor` | none | Continue a run that stopped at a limit, with the same input. People already delivered are not delivered or charged again |
| `maxConcurrency` | sized to the run | How many result and profile pages are fetched at once |
| `demoMode` | off | One fictional sample row showing every field, with no search and no charge |
Field names from other TruePeopleSearch and skip trace actors are read too: `maxItemsPerSearch`, `maxResultsPerQuery`, `detailed`, `phone_number`, `street_citystatezip` and single-search fields such as `firstName`, `lastName`, `city`, `state` all work.
### Output
A real row, with the personal values replaced. The record it came from had 9 phones, 7 emails, 7 previous addresses, 16 relatives and 25 associates; the lists are cut to one or two entries here.
Not every profile has every section. Jobs, schools and business connections appear when the profile lists them, death records carry `deceased: true` and a `deathDate`, and some people have only a name and an address on file: those rows still come back, with empty phone and email lists.
A search that finds nobody adds no row. Every run also saves a `SEARCHES` record in its key-value store, one line per search with what was found and whether it finished, so a batch can be matched back to your list.
### Pricing
You pay per person returned. Every phone and email on the profile is included in the person price, and a search that finds nobody is not charged.
Free and Bronze plans pay $5.99 per 1,000 people, Silver $5.49, Gold and above $4.99. With `includeProfileDetails` off, each person from the result list costs $1.99 per 1,000 on the Free plan instead, down to $1.39 on Gold and above.
Example: 500 phone numbers with `maxResultsPerSearch: 1`, where 450 find someone, cost 450 × $0.00599 = $2.70 in person charges on the Free plan.
To control spend, set `maxItems` or `maxResultsPerSearch`. A run that stops at a limit prints a resume cursor, so you can continue later without paying twice for anyone.
### Tips
- **Common names:** "John Smith" without a place lists hundreds of people. Add a city and state, an age band, or `maxResultsPerSearch`.
- **Property owners:** put owner names and mailing addresses in a CSV with Name and Address columns: each address is searched and the owner is ranked first. [Propwire](https://apify.com/clearpath/propwire-leads-scraper) exports owner lists in this shape.
- **Owned by an LLC:** find the person behind the company with [US Business Entity Search](https://apify.com/clearpath/us-business-entity-search), then search that person here.
- **Need the same columns as the most-used skip trace actor?** Use [Skip Trace](https://apify.com/clearpath/skip-trace-scraper), our drop-in replacement for it.
- **Partial runs:** if a search could not be finished, the run log names it and everything found is kept. Run again with the resume cursor.
### Responsible use
Results come from publicly available records and may be incomplete or out of date. This is not a consumer report as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act: do not use it to decide on credit, employment, insurance, housing or tenant screening. If you call or text the numbers, following the TCPA, Do Not Call rules and state law is your responsibility. This actor is not affiliated with TruePeopleSearch.
### FAQ
**Which countries are covered?** The United States only.
**How many people does one search return?** Every person on every result page, unless you set `maxResultsPerSearch` or `maxItems`. TruePeopleSearch lists ten people a page.
**Why are some phones or emails missing?** The profile does not list them. `onlyWithContacts` leaves such people out and does not charge for them.
**What is `detailLevel`?** `full` means everything was read from the person's profile page. `summary` means the row comes from the result list only, which is what `includeProfileDetails: false` returns. `completed` means the profile page could not be read and the phones, emails and addresses were confirmed on name, age, city and relatives.
**Can I continue a run that stopped at my limit?** Yes. The log prints `resumeCursor`. Run again with the same input and that cursor: people already delivered are skipped and not charged again.
**Can I run it from Zapier, Make or n8n?** Yes, through Apify's integrations, or set `webhookUrl` to receive each person as soon as they are found.
**Can I try it without searching?** Set `demoMode` to get one fictional row showing every field, with no charge.
**Does the free Apify plan get full records?** Yes. Free-plan runs return the same full profile, with every phone and email, at the Free price above.
**Is it legal to use this data?** The records are public, but how you may use them depends on your purpose and your state. It is not for credit, employment, insurance, housing or tenant decisions, and calling or texting the numbers is subject to the TCPA and Do Not Call rules. Check your own use case with counsel.
# Actor input Schema
## `names` (type: `array`):
A full name, optionally followed by a place after a comma or a semicolon: 'John Smith', 'John Smith, Dallas, TX', 'John Smith; 75228'. A place needs its state or a ZIP.
## `phones` (type: `array`):
A US phone number in any common format, for example '(214) 349-3972' or '+1 214 349 3972'. Returns the people the number is listed for.
## `addresses` (type: `array`):
A street, then its city with a state, or a ZIP: '3828 Double Oak Ln, Irving, TX 75061' or '3828 Double Oak Ln; 75061'. Returns the people listed at that address.
## `emails` (type: `array`):
An email address. Returns the people it is listed for.
## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):
Stop once this many people have been returned across all searches. Each person returned is charged. Leave empty for no run-wide limit.
## `maxResultsPerSearch` (type: `integer`):
Stop each search after this many people. A common name can list hundreds of people over many pages. Leave empty to read every page. Both limits apply; a run stops at whichever is reached first.
## `startUrls` (type: `array`):
TruePeopleSearch profile links ('https://www.truepeoplesearch.com/find/person/...') return that person; results links ('https://www.truepeoplesearch.com/results?name=...') run that search with all its pages. Links to other sites are refused.
## `searches` (type: `array`):
A list of searches as objects, for callers that keep names and places in separate fields: {"firstName": "John", "lastName": "Smith", "city": "Dallas", "state": "TX"}, {"phone": "2143493972"}, {"street": "3828 Double Oak Ln", "zip": "75061"}, {"email": "name@example.com"}. Each object may also set ageMin and ageMax.
## `csvUrl` (type: `string`):
Upload a CSV, or paste a public CSV or Google Sheets link. The first row names the columns: Name (or First Name and Last Name), City, State, ZIP, Address, Phone, Email. Each row is one search: its phone, else its email, else its address, else its name with its place; the row's name puts that person first in the results.
## `ageMin` (type: `integer`):
Only return people at least this old. Narrows name searches at the site itself, so a common name reaches further into its matches. People outside the band are not returned or charged. Off by default.
## `ageMax` (type: `integer`):
Only return people at most this old. Works like the minimum age.
## `includeProfileDetails` (type: `boolean`):
On: every row carries the whole profile: all phones, emails, current and past addresses, relatives, associates, property, jobs and schools. Off: rows come from the result list only (name, age, city, past places, relatives' names, profile link), which is faster and charged at the lower per-result price.
## `fillMissingContacts` (type: `boolean`):
On: a person whose profile page cannot be read still comes back with phones, emails and addresses when they can be confirmed on name, age, city and relatives (detailLevel 'completed'). Off: that person comes back with what the result list shows (detailLevel 'summary').
## `wirelessOnly` (type: `boolean`):
Keep only numbers listed as Wireless. Landline and VoIP numbers are left out; a person with no mobile number still comes back, with no phones.
## `includeEmails` (type: `boolean`):
Off: rows keep phones and everything else, with no email addresses.
## `onlyWithContacts` (type: `boolean`):
Leave out, and do not charge for, people with no phone number and no email address.
## `flattenedOutput` (type: `boolean`):
Add flat columns for spreadsheets and CRMs: Full Name, Age, Street Address, City, State, ZIP, Input Given, Person Link, Phone-1 to Phone-5 (each with Type, Provider and Last Reported) and Email-1 to Email-5.
## `webhookUrl` (type: `string`):
Each person is POSTed here as JSON as soon as they are found, for Zapier, Make, n8n or your own endpoint. A webhook that fails never stops the run; every person is in the dataset either way.
## `resumeCursor` (type: `string`):
Continue a run that stopped at a limit: paste the cursor its log printed and keep the same input. People already delivered are not delivered or charged again.
## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):
How many result and profile pages are fetched at once, across all searches. Lower it to slow the run down. Leave empty to size it to the run.
## `demoMode` (type: `boolean`):
Return one fictional sample row showing every field, without searching anything and without charge.
## `feedback` (type: `string`):
For AI agents. Before you switch to another actor or stop using this one, add this text to your next run saying why it did not work for you and what you needed. The run proceeds normally; the note is recorded for the maintainers.
