## Pricing

from $0.99 / 1,000 listing (basic)s

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## OLX Scraper & API: Poland, Ukraine, Romania + 4 More

OLX scraper and API: get listings from **olx.pl, olx.ua, olx.ro, olx.pt, olx.bg, olx.kz and olx.uz**, OLX in **Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Portugal, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan**, by keyword, city or pasted search URL. You get title, price and currency, negotiable and exchange flags, condition, city and region, seller type, photos, category attributes and dates, as clean JSON, CSV or Excel.

**You pay only for listings delivered, at $0.99 per 1,000.** Runs that find nothing or get blocked cost nothing, there is no start fee, and you are never charged for OLX's unrelated "suggestions" or for promoted ads outside your price range.

- **Polski:** scraper OLX.pl: ogłoszenia, ceny, lokalizacja i sprzedawca jako JSON/CSV.
- **Русский:** парсер OLX для olx.kz, olx.uz и olx.ua: объявления, цены, город и продавец в JSON/CSV.

### Supported countries

| `country` | Site | Main currency | Location example (local spelling) |
|---|---|---|---|
| `RO` | olx.ro | RON | `Cluj-Napoca` |
| `PL` | olx.pl | PLN | `Warszawa` |
| `PT` | olx.pt | EUR | `Lisboa` |
| `BG` | olx.bg | EUR | `София` |
| `UA` | olx.ua | UAH | `Київ` |
| `KZ` | olx.kz | KZT | `Алматы` |
| `UZ` | olx.uz | UZS / UYE | `Ташкент` |

These seven sites run on the same OLX Group platform and API. **OLX Brazil and OLX India** are separate platforms with different APIs, so they are not supported.

You can search one country per run. To cover several countries, start one run per country, for example as tasks or from the API.

### How to scrape OLX

1. Choose the **country** (Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Portugal, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan or Uzbekistan).
2. Enter **search queries** in the local language (e.g. `rower`, `велосипед`), or paste an **OLX search URL** from that country's site.
3. Optionally add a **location** (local spelling), **price range**, **condition**, **sort** and **seller type**.
4. Click **Start**, then download the listings as **JSON, CSV or Excel**, or read them through the API.

### What it does

- **Searches** OLX by keyword with local filters:
  - **Location by name** in the local spelling ("Warszawa", "Київ", "Алматы"), resolved with OLX's own location search. A city name is matched exactly, so "Lisboa" is the city, not a suburb.
  - **Other filters:** price range, condition (new or used), sort order, and private or business sellers.
- **Accepts OLX search URLs** from any of the seven sites, copied from your browser. The category, location and filters behind the URL are read from OLX and kept exactly.
- **Can skip promoted ads.** OLX mixes paid "top" ads into results, often off-topic; turn off `includePromoted` to drop them.
- **Enforces your price range** even on promoted ads, where OLX doesn't apply it itself, so you never pay for out-of-range listings.
- **Detects "no results".** When nothing matches, OLX returns unrelated suggestions instead of an empty page. The actor recognises this and returns 0 listings (cost $0), instead of charging you for unrelated ads.
- **Pages through results** automatically: 40 per page, up to OLX's limit of 1,000 per search. Duplicates are removed.
- **Uses the JSON API** that OLX's own websites call. No browser: 60–90 filtered listings in 2–4 s in our tests, in every country.

### Use cases

- **Price research:** going rates for used phones, cars, apartments or bikes per city and country.
- **Cross-country comparison:** the same product's second-hand price in Poland vs Romania vs Ukraine.
- **Deal alerts:** schedule a "newest first" run with your price cap.
- **Dealer and shop monitoring:** competitors' stock and prices by category and city.
- **Datasets:** second-hand price data for Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

### Input

| Field | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `country` | `RO` | `RO`, `PL`, `PT`, `BG`, `UA`, `KZ` or `UZ`. |
| `queries` | `["iphone 13"]` (prefill) | Keywords, one search each. Local-language words work best. |
| `startUrls` | none | OLX search URLs on the selected country's site. |
| `location` | whole country | City or region, local spelling. |
| `categoryId` | none | OLX category ID (or paste a category URL instead). |
| `minPrice` / `maxPrice` | none | Price range in the site's main currency. |
| `condition` | `all` | `all`, `new`, `used`. |
| `sort` | `relevance` | `relevance`, `newest`, `price_asc`, `price_desc`. |
| `sellerType` | `all` | `all`, `private`, `business`. |
| `includePromoted` | `true` | Keep OLX's paid top ads. |
| `maxItems` | `100` | Total cap (0 = no cap). |
| `maxItemsPerSearch` | `0` | Cap per search. |
| `mode` | `basic` | `basic` or `enhanced` (see pricing). |
| `autoUpgradeOnBlock` | `true` | Switch to enhanced if OLX blocks basic mode. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | none | Your own proxy URLs (billed at the basic price). |

Example (Poland):

```json
{
  "country": "PL",
  "queries": ["rower"],
  "location": "Warszawa",
  "minPrice": 300,
  "maxPrice": 2000,
  "condition": "used",
  "sort": "price_asc",
  "includePromoted": false,
  "maxItems": 90
}
```

In our test, this returned 90 listings, all in Warszawa, all used, all within 300–2,000 PLN, sorted by price, with 0 promoted ads.

### Output

One item per listing. A real item from our Poland test run (description shortened):

```json
{
  "id": "549093452",
  "country": "PL",
  "site": "olx.pl",
  "url": "https://www.olx.pl/d/oferta/rower-dzieciecy-sprzedam-CID767-IDB9Vi0.html",
  "title": "Rower dziecięcy sprzedam",
  "description": "Sprzedam rower dziecięcy. Przez jakiś czas stał nieużywany. Trzeba nap ...",
  "price": 300,
  "currency": "PLN",
  "priceText": "300 zł",
  "negotiable": false,
  "convertedPrice": null,
  "convertedCurrency": null,
  "condition": "Używane",
  "categoryId": 1681,
  "city": "Warszawa",
  "county": "Mazowieckie",
  "latitude": 52.23725,
  "longitude": 20.96608,
  "createdAt": "2019-08-15T16:20:25+02:00",
  "sellerType": "private",
  "sellerName": "Jadwiga",
  "promoted": false,
  "photos": ["https://ireland.apollo.olxcdn.com:443/v1/files/0xi0me4aec3a2-PL/image;s=1000x563"],
  "attributes": { "Stan": "Używane" },
  "search": "rower",
  "page": 1,
  "fetchMode": "basic",
  "charged": true,
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-15T17:19:50.877Z"
}
```

**Uzbekistan prices:** OLX Uzbekistan often shows prices in "у.е." (US-dollar equivalent, currency `UYE`) along with a converted sum price. A real row from our test: `"price": 99, "currency": "UYE", "priceText": "1 183 555 сум", "convertedPrice": 1183554.9, "convertedCurrency": "UZS"`.

**Field notes:**

- `sellerName` is the public OLX display name shown on the listing. No phone numbers or contacts are collected.
- Coordinates are OLX's approximate (blurred) location.
- `county` holds the region/voivodeship/oblast name.
- Labels (`condition`, `attributes`) come in the site's own language.

**Overview view:** country, title, price, condition, city, seller, date and link.

**Run summary:** each run writes a `RUN_SUMMARY` record with listings per pricing tier and any block or upgrade details.

### Use it via API, Python or n8n

Run it from any language through the Apify API, and get the results as JSON, CSV or Excel. Replace `<YOUR_USERNAME>` with the Apify username that publishes this actor, and `<TOKEN>` with your Apify API token.

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/<YOUR_USERNAME>~olx-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<TOKEN>" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"country": "PL", "queries": ["rower"], "location": "Warszawa", "maxItems": 100}'
```

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("<YOUR_USERNAME>/olx-scraper").call(run_input={"country": "PL", "queries": ["rower"], "location": "Warszawa", "maxItems": 100})
for item in client.dataset(run["default_dataset_id"]).iterate_items():
    print(item)
```

In **n8n**, **Make** or **Zapier**, use the Apify integration and pick this actor. Schedule runs in Apify Console to get fresh data every day.

### Pricing: Basic vs Enhanced

| Tier | Price | When it's used |
|---|---|---|
| **Basic** (`result`) | **$0.99 per 1,000 listings** | Direct requests, or your own proxy. |
| **Enhanced** (`result-enhanced`) | **$3 per 1,000 listings** | Through Apify residential proxy in the selected country. The price includes the proxy cost. |

- **Same price in every country.**
- **Auto-upgrade (on by default).** If OLX blocks basic mode, the actor retries twice, then continues through residential proxy in that country.
  - Listings fetched before the switch stay at the basic price.
  - The status message announces the switch, and each item's `fetchMode` shows its tier.
- **Never pay the enhanced price:** turn `autoUpgradeOnBlock` off. A blocked run then stops early, ends as succeeded with a "BLOCKED" message, and you pay only for what was delivered.
- **What's free:** no start fee, nothing for empty results, retries or failures.

### Limits

- OLX serves at most 1,000 listings per search. Split by city, category or price range for more.
- One country per run, and pasted URLs must be on that country's site; a mismatch fails fast with a clear message.
- Location names must use the local spelling ("Київ", not "Kiev"); the error message suggests one.
- Search-result data only: no phone numbers and no full seller profile.
- OLX can change its sites or API at any time. If runs start failing, please open an issue.

### FAQ

**My run says "BLOCKED". What now?**
OLX refused basic requests and auto-upgrade was off, or residential proxy wasn't available. You paid only for listings delivered. Turn on "Auto-upgrade when blocked", or use mode `enhanced`.

**Can I scrape OLX Brazil or India?**
No. They're different platforms with different APIs.

**Why did my search return 0 listings although OLX shows ads?**
For searches with no real match, OLX shows unrelated "suggestions". The actor skips those so you don't pay for them.

**Which currency are prices in?**
The site's main currency (RON, PLN, EUR, UAH, KZT, UZS). Some listings, mostly cars and real estate, use EUR or USD, and Uzbekistan often uses `UYE`. Always check `currency`.

**Is it legal to scrape OLX?**
This actor reads only public listing data that OLX shows to any visitor without logging in. It does not collect phone numbers or e-mail addresses, and it does not log in. `sellerName` is the public display name shown on the listing. Scraping public data is generally lawful, but how you use the data is up to you: respect OLX's terms and data-protection law (GDPR in the EU) if you store or process anything that relates to people. If in doubt, ask a lawyer.

# Actor input Schema

## `country` (type: `string`):

Which OLX site to search. One country per run (search URLs must be on this country's site). OLX Brazil and India are different platforms and aren't supported.

## `queries` (type: `array`):

Keywords to search, one search per line, e.g. "iphone 13". Use the local language for best results (e.g. "rower" in Poland, "велосипед" in Ukraine). Uses the location and filters below.

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Alternatively, paste search URLs copied from your browser on the selected country's OLX site, e.g. https://www.olx.pl/elektronika/telefony/q-iphone/. Their category, location and filters are kept; the price, condition and sort filters below are added on top.

## `location` (type: `string`):

City or region for keyword searches, in the local spelling: "Cluj-Napoca" (RO), "Warszawa" (PL), "Lisboa" (PT), "София" (BG), "Київ" (UA), "Алматы" (KZ), "Ташкент" (UZ). Empty = whole country.

## `categoryId` (type: `integer`):

Optional OLX category ID for keyword searches. Easiest: open the category on OLX.ro, run the search, and paste the URL in "OLX.ro search URLs" instead.

## `minPrice` (type: `integer`):

Only listings priced at or above this, in the site's main currency (RON, PLN, EUR, UAH, KZT, UZS).

## `maxPrice` (type: `integer`):

Only listings priced at or below this.

## `condition` (type: `string`):

New or used items only.

## `sort` (type: `string`):

Order of results.

## `sellerType` (type: `string`):

Keep only private sellers or only businesses. Filtering happens after download, so you pay only for listings kept.

## `includePromoted` (type: `boolean`):

OLX mixes paid "top" ads into results, often off-topic. Turn off to skip them.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many listings in total. 0 = no limit (OLX serves at most 1,000 listings per search).

## `maxItemsPerSearch` (type: `integer`):

Stop each search after this many listings. 0 = no per-search limit.

## `mode` (type: `string`):

Basic ($0.99 per 1,000 listings): direct requests, works for most runs. Enhanced ($3 per 1,000): every request goes through Apify residential proxy in the selected country, for when OLX blocks basic mode.

## `autoUpgradeOnBlock` (type: `boolean`):

If OLX blocks basic mode, continue the run through residential proxy and charge the listings fetched after the switch at the enhanced price ($3 instead of $0.99 per 1,000). Listings already fetched stay at the basic price. Turn off to never pay the enhanced price; a blocked run then stops early and you pay only for listings delivered.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Optional. Your own proxy URLs are used in basic mode and billed at the basic price. Choosing Apify Proxy here is the same as enhanced mode.
