## Pricing

from $3.80 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

TikTok Shop Scraper collects public product data from TikTok Shop and returns it as clean, flat JSON. You can search products by keyword, get full product details with every SKU variant and its stock, and collect public reviews with the reviewer's public profile (reviewer ID, avatar, country). You can also list every product of a shop or pull a market's hot-selling list. It is made for product researchers, dropshippers, e-commerce sellers, brands and data teams. No proxies, cookies, login or browser are needed.

Pricing is pay-per-event: a small start fee per run plus a fee per item returned. This is a product-data API (public listings, prices and reviews), not the seller API for managing your own shop's orders.

### What is TikTok Shop?

TikTok Shop is the shopping marketplace built into TikTok. Sellers list products with prices, variants and shipping details, and buyers can leave ratings and reviews. Each market (for example US, Malaysia or Thailand) has its own listings, prices and currency, which is why this Actor asks for a region.

### What data can you get?

The Actor has five modes. Each mode takes a different input and returns one type of record.

| Mode | Give it | You get |
|---|---|---|
| `search` | a keyword (and a region) | products: title, price, original price, discount, units sold, rating, review count, shop name and ID, URL, image |
| `product` | product IDs, product URLs or share links | full details: description, brand, category path, every SKU variant with price and stock, specifications, shipping fee, images, shop stats |
| `reviews` | product IDs or URLs | review text, star rating, date, purchased variant, verified-purchase flag, plus the reviewer's public profile: masked nickname, reviewer ID, avatar, country |
| `shop` | seller IDs, store URLs or share links | every product the shop sells, in the same format as search |
| `hotSelling` | a region | the market's hot-selling products with sales and ratings |

Supported markets: US, SG, MY, TH, PH, VN for search, product, reviews and shop; MY, SG, TH, PH, VN, ID, JP, MX for hot-selling.

Every record has a `type` field with one of three values: `product`, `productDetail` or `review`. In Apify Console the dataset has three ready-made table views: Products, Product details and Reviews.

### How to use TikTok Shop Scraper

1. Open TikTok Shop Scraper in Apify Console.
2. Pick a **Mode**: search products by keyword, product details, product reviews, shop products or hot-selling products.
3. Fill in the input for that mode: a keyword, product IDs or URLs, or shop IDs or URLs. Choose a **Region** if you need a market other than the default.
4. Set **Max results** to cap how many items (and charges) the run can produce.
5. Start the run and wait for it to finish.
6. Open the dataset and export it as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read it through the Apify API.

### Input

| Field | Type | Required | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| `mode` | string | Required | What to scrape: `search`, `product`, `reviews`, `shop` or `hotSelling` | `search` |
| `keyword` | string | Optional (search mode) | Search keyword. English keywords work best. | `lipstick` |
| `region` | string | Optional | TikTok Shop market: US, SG, MY, TH, PH, VN, ID, JP or MX. A region in a TikTok Shop URL takes precedence. | US, or MY for hot-selling |
| `products` | array of strings | Required in product and reviews modes | Product URLs, share links or numeric product IDs | none |
| `shops` | array of strings | Required in shop mode | Store URLs, share links or numeric seller IDs | none |
| `maxResults` | integer | Optional | Maximum number of items to return in total for this run (1 to 5,000). You are charged per item returned. | 20 |

Search, product, reviews and shop support US, SG, MY, TH, PH and VN. Hot-selling supports MY, SG, TH, PH, VN, ID, JP and MX (not US).

An empty input `{}` runs a small default search, so you can try the Actor in seconds.

### How much does it cost?

The Actor uses pay-per-event pricing. You pay a start fee for each run and a fee for each product or review returned. A full product detail (product mode) has a higher fee because it needs its own lookup. Prices depend on your Apify plan tier:

| Event | Free | Bronze | Silver | Gold, Platinum, Diamond |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Run start (`run-start`) | $0.02 | $0.009 | $0.009 | $0.009 |
| Product or review returned (`result`) | $0.005 | $0.0046 | $0.0042 | $0.0038 |
| Full product detail (`detail`) | $0.012 | $0.011 | $0.010 | $0.009 |

The run-start fee is charged when the first request to the data source succeeds, even if that request returns nothing. It is not charged when the data source fails from the start or rejects the IDs, or when the spending limit cannot cover it.

Worked examples:

- 100 search results on the Bronze tier: $0.009 + 100 × $0.0046 = about $0.47.
- 100 search results on Gold, Platinum or Diamond: $0.009 + 100 × $0.0038 = about $0.39.
- 100 full product details on the Bronze tier: $0.009 + 100 × $0.011 = about $1.11.
- On the free plan a run stops at 20 results: $0.02 + 20 × $0.005 = $0.12.

On the free Apify plan, a run returns at most 20 results in total; any paid Apify plan removes the limit. You never pay for more than `maxResults` items. On the free Apify plan each account can run this Actor up to 3 times per 24 hours and 10 times per 7 days, within a small lifetime free allowance shared across all our Actors, and all free accounts share a daily free budget. When any of these limits is reached, the run stops before fetching anything and nothing is charged.

### Use cases

- **Product research and dropshipping**: find what sells in each market, compare `price`, `discount` and `soldCount`, and spot rising products early with the hot-selling list.
- **Competitor and price monitoring**: track a shop's catalog, prices, stock (`skus`, `totalStock`) and ratings over time with scheduled runs.
- **Review analysis**: collect review `text` and `rating` per `skuVariant` for sentiment analysis, quality issues and feature ideas.
- **Seller and shop comparison**: compare `shopRating`, `shopFollowers`, `shopSoldCount` and `shopProductCount` across shops in a category.
- **Cross-market comparison**: run the same keyword in US, SG, MY, TH, PH and VN to compare local prices and sales.
- **Marketplace and AI datasets**: build structured e-commerce datasets for pricing models, recommendation and retrieval.

### Integrations and API

If you need a TikTok Shop product API, you can start this Actor from your own code through the Apify API, schedule it to run daily or weekly, and connect the results to Apify integrations such as webhooks, Google Sheets, Make or Zapier. Results are stored in an Apify dataset that you can download in JSON, CSV or Excel.

Python example with `apify-client`:

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("clover_folktale/tiktok-shop-scraper").call(run_input={
    "mode": "search",
    "keyword": "lipstick",
    "region": "US",
    "maxResults": 50,
})
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item)
```

A longer Python example is on GitHub: [tiktok_shop_search.py](https://github.com/silklinedata/china-social-data-examples/blob/master/python/tiktok_shop_search.py).

### Tips and limits

- Search returns up to about 40 products per keyword. Use several keywords or the `shop` mode to go deeper.
- Hot-selling is not available for the US market.
- If you paste a TikTok Shop URL, the region in the URL takes precedence over the `region` field.
- English keywords work best for search.
- `maxResults` is the total for the whole run, across all keywords, products or shops you enter.
- The list in `products` or `shops` is also cut to `maxResults` entries. For example, if you enter 50 product IDs with the default `maxResults` of 20, only 20 of them are processed.
- Numbers such as units sold and ratings are what TikTok Shop shows at the time of the run.
- IDs or links that return nothing are skipped. An entry that is not a TikTok Shop ID or link stops the run with an input error before anything is fetched. If 5 inputs return nothing, the run stops to protect your budget.
- **Empty fields:** `brand` is filled only for branded products, and `originalPrice` and `discount` only for products on sale. These two fields are on product records (search, shop, hot-selling), not on product detail records. `reviewerId` and `reviewerAvatar` are null when TikTok Shop does not provide them for a review.
- Review photos are counted in `imageCount`, not returned.
- On the free Apify plan a run returns at most 20 results in total; any paid plan removes the limit.
- Missing a field or a market? Open an issue from the Actor page and it will be looked at.

### FAQ

#### Do I need a TikTok account, login or cookies?

No. You do not need a login, cookies, proxies or a browser.

#### Is it legal to scrape TikTok Shop?

The Actor returns only public data: product listings, prices, public reviews and the public profile data TikTok Shop shows with a review (masked nickname, reviewer ID, avatar, country). It does not return private data such as phone numbers, email addresses, messages or order details. You are responsible for how you use the data and for following the laws and terms that apply to you.

#### How fresh is the data?

Data is collected when you run the Actor. Units sold, prices, stock and ratings are what TikTok Shop shows at that moment.

#### Why are some fields empty?

Some fields only exist for some products: `brand` for branded products, `originalPrice` and `discount` for products on sale. Reviewer ID and avatar are null when the review does not carry them. Each record type also carries only its own fields, so a review record has no `price`.

#### How many results can I get?

Up to 5,000 items per run through `maxResults`. Search returns up to about 40 products per keyword, so use several keywords or shop mode for more. On the free Apify plan a run returns at most 20 results.

#### Can I schedule runs and export the data?

Yes. You can schedule runs in Apify Console or start them through the API, and export each dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel.

#### Is this the TikTok Shop seller API?

No. It is a product-data API for public listings, prices and reviews. It does not manage your own shop's orders.

#### Which markets are supported?

US, SG, MY, TH, PH and VN for search, product, reviews and shop. MY, SG, TH, PH, VN, ID, JP and MX for hot-selling.
