## Pricing

from $0.66 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Bluesky Scraper: Posts, Search, Profiles, Followers & Threads

Bluesky Scraper extracts public data from [Bluesky](https://bsky.app): posts from keyword and hashtag searches, author feeds, full reply threads, profiles, followers and follows. Get clean, structured data in minutes and export it to JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or connect it to your own tools.

No Bluesky account is needed. Just enter what you are looking for and click **Start**.

### What can Bluesky Scraper do?

- 🔎 **Search posts** by keyword or hashtag, and narrow results by date range, language, author, mentions, linked domain or minimum engagement
- 📰 **Scrape any account's feed**: posts, replies and reposts
- 💬 **Collect replies** to posts as separate records, with nesting depth, so you can follow whole conversations
- 👤 **Get profile details**: display name, bio, avatar, banner, follower, follow and post counts
- 👥 **List followers and follows** of any account
- 🧠 **Add sentiment and topic labels** to every post (positive / negative / neutral, plus categories such as technology, politics or sports)
- 🔗 **Paste any Bluesky link** (search, hashtag, profile, post, followers or follows page) and the Actor works out what to collect

### Who is it for?

- **Marketing and brand teams** tracking mentions of a brand, product or campaign
- **Social media and PR agencies** reporting on conversations and influencers
- **Researchers, academics and journalists** building datasets of public discussion
- **Data analysts and data scientists** who need clean data for dashboards, models or AI projects
- **Founders and sales teams** looking for people talking about a problem they solve
- **Community managers** who want to understand an audience before engaging with it

### How to use Bluesky Scraper

1. Click **Try for free** to open the Actor in Apify Console.
2. In the **Input** tab, pick an **Action** and enter your **Queries** (keywords, account handles or post links). You can also paste Bluesky links into **Start URLs**.
3. Set **Max items** to limit how many results you want. Add filters if needed.
4. Click **Start** and wait for the run to finish.
5. Open the **Output** tab to preview results and download them in your preferred format.

You can also schedule runs, receive notifications when they finish, and run the Actor from your own code with the Apify API and the JavaScript and Python clients.

#### Example inputs

**Latest posts about a topic**

```json
{ "actionToPerform": "searchPosts", "queries": ["web scraping"], "sortOrder": "latest", "maxItems": 500 }
```

**An account's profile and posts, including replies to each post**

```json
{ "actionToPerform": "getFollowers", "queries": ["bsky.app"], "maxItems": 5000 }
```

### Input

|---|---|
| `actionToPerform` | What to collect: `searchPosts`, `getAuthorFeed`, `getFollowers`, `getFollows`, `getProfile` or `getThread`. |
| `queries` | Keywords for search, account handles (for example `bsky.app`) for feeds, followers, follows and profiles, or post links for threads. |
| `startUrls` | Bluesky links. The type of each link is detected automatically. Can be combined with `queries`. |
| `maxItems` | Maximum number of results in total, replies included. |
| `sortOrder` | `latest` or `top` (search only). |
| `dateFrom`, `dateTo` | Date range in `YYYY-MM-DD` format (search only). |

| `scrapeComments`, `maxComments` | Collect replies to each post, up to the given number per post. |
| `sentimentAnalysis` | Adds `sentimentScore` and `sentimentLabel` to posts. |
| `contentAnalysis` | Adds `categories` and `primaryCategory` to posts. |

### Output

Every record has a `kind`, an `id` and a `url`. The combination of `kind` and `id` is unique.

| `kind` | What it contains |
|---|---|
| `post` | Author, text, dates, languages, links, images and other attachments, hashtags, and like, repost, reply and quote counts. |
| `comment` | A reply to a post, with its nesting depth, the post it belongs to and who it replies to. |
| `profile` | Handle, display name, bio, avatar, banner, follower, follow and post counts, verification status. |
| `follower` / `follow` | A compact profile of an account that follows, or is followed by, the account you entered. |

**Example post**

```json
{
  "kind": "post",
  "id": "at://did:plc:abc123/app.bsky.feed.post/3mx...",
  "url": "https://bsky.app/profile/example.bsky.social/post/3mx...",
  "authorHandle": "example.bsky.social",
  "authorName": "Example",
  "text": "Bluesky is growing fast #bluesky",
  "createdAt": "2026-10-01T15:42:45Z",
  "sentimentLabel": "positive",
  "categories": ["technology"],
  "primaryCategory": "technology"
}
```

Download the results as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML, or read them with the Apify API.

### How much does it cost?

The Actor uses **pay-per-event** pricing: **$0.99 per 1,000 results**, plus a tiny start fee of $0.005 per run. Posts, replies, profiles, followers and follows each count as one result. Paid Apify plans get volume discounts. Apify platform usage is included in the price.

You only pay for results you actually receive, and **Max items** lets you set a ceiling before you start. For example, 5,000 posts cost about $5.

### Tips for best results

- Start with a small **Max items** to check that the output fits your needs, then scale up.
- Collecting replies makes runs longer and datasets larger. Use **Max comments per post** to keep it under control.
- For very large searches, split your work into date ranges or several related queries.
- **Latest** sorting works best for big searches. **Top** sorting returns up to 100 posts per query.
- You receive what Bluesky shows publicly at the time of the run. Deleted or private content is not available.

### Is it legal to scrape Bluesky?

This Actor only collects **publicly available** information. You are responsible for making sure your use of the data complies with applicable laws, such as GDPR, and with Bluesky's terms. Personal data is protected in many countries, so only collect it when you have a legitimate reason. If you are not sure, consult a lawyer.

### FAQ

**Do I need a Bluesky account or any login?**
No. You only need an Apify account.

**How many results can I get?**
As many as match your search, up to the **Max items** you set. Searches with very few matches simply return fewer results.

**Can I get the replies to a post?**
Yes. Turn on **Scrape comments**, or use the **Post thread** action with a post link.

**Can I collect data on a schedule?**
Yes. Use Apify schedules to run the Actor hourly, daily or weekly, and set up notifications or webhooks to send results to other tools.

**Can I connect it to other apps?**
Yes. It works with Apify integrations such as Make, Zapier, Google Sheets and Slack, and with AI agents through the Apify MCP server.

**I need a feature that is missing, or something looks wrong.**
Please open an issue in the **Issues** tab of this Actor. Feedback and feature requests are welcome.
