## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

### What does Workday Jobs Scraper do?

Workday Jobs Scraper extracts job postings from any public Workday careers site (`myworkdayjobs.com` and `myworkdaysite.com`). Paste a careers URL and get every open job as a clean dataset: title, full description, locations, posting date, requisition ID, and apply link.

Workday career sites show at most 2,000 results per search. Most scrapers stop there. This one keeps going and returns the full list.

Tested October 12, 2026:

| Employer | Basic scraper | Workday Jobs Scraper | Jobs on the site |
|---|---:|---:|---:|
| NVIDIA | 2,000 | 2,702 | 2,702 |
| Target | 1,987 | 14,122 | 14,124 |

On Target, a basic scraper returns 1,987 jobs. This one returns 14,122.

### What can you use Workday job data for?

- 📊 **Hiring trend analysis:** track how many roles an employer has open, by team, country, or job type.
- 🔔 **New-job alerts:** get only new postings from the companies you follow, every day.
- 🏢 **Job boards and aggregators:** feed complete, up-to-date listings into your own site.
- 🎯 **Sales and recruiting leads:** spot companies that are hiring for the roles you serve.
- 🔬 **Labor market research:** build datasets across many employers in one run.

  "title": "Senior Software Engineer - Tools and Production Pipelines",
  "company": "nvidia",
  "hiringOrganization": "IL00 Mellanox Technologies, Ltd.",
  "url": "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite/job/Israel-Tel-Aviv/Senior-Software-Engineer---Tools-and-Production-Pipelines_JR2027027",
  "applyUrl": "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite/job/Israel-Tel-Aviv/Senior-Software-Engineer---Tools-and-Production-Pipelines_JR2027027/apply",
  "location": "Israel, Tel Aviv",
  "additionalLocations": ["Israel, Raanana", "Israel, Yokneam"],

  "postedOnText": "Posted Today",
  "postedDate": "2026-10-12",
  "postedDaysAgo": 0,
  "validThrough": null,
  "descriptionText": "We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and build tools, pipelines, and AI-enabled systems...",
  "isNew": null,
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-12T17:59:16+00:00"
}
```
With `includeDetails` off, each job has its title, location, relative date, URL, and requisition ID.
### 🔔 How to get new Workday jobs every day
1. Turn on `onlyNewJobs`.
2. Save the task and add a daily schedule in Apify.
3. Connect Slack, email, or Google Sheets to get each day's new jobs.
Each run returns only jobs you haven't received before, marked `isNew: true`. Edited or closed jobs aren't flagged, and a job reposted under a new link counts as new. To run separate monitors, give each one its own `monitorStateStoreName`.
### 💰 How much does it cost to scrape Workday jobs?
$1.50 per 1,000 jobs, with no start fee. You only pay for jobs in your results, never for filtered ones. Runs stop at your maximum charge limit. Apify plan discounts apply.
### 🔌 Integrations
Connect Workday Jobs Scraper to Make, Zapier, Slack, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Airbyte, GitHub, and more with Apify integrations. Use webhooks to trigger an action whenever a run finishes, for example posting new jobs to a Slack channel.
### 🧑‍💻 Use Workday Jobs Scraper with the Apify API
Run the scraper and fetch results from your own code with the Apify API, or the `apify-client` packages for Python and Node.js. See the **API** tab for ready-made code examples.
```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient

client = ApifyClient("YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("codyklr/workday-jobs-scraper").call(run_input={
    "startUrls": [{"url": "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite"}],
    "maxJobsPerSite": 0,
})
for job in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(job["title"], job["location"])
```
### ❓ FAQ
#### How many jobs can I scrape?
Every open job on the site. Set `maxJobsPerSite` to 0 to remove the cap.
#### Which companies use Workday?
Thousands of employers, including NVIDIA, Salesforce, Adobe, Intel, and Target. If a job link contains `myworkdayjobs.com` or `myworkdaysite.com`, this scraper works with it.
#### My company's careers page is on its own domain. What do I do?
Click any job and look for a `myworkdayjobs.com` or `myworkdaysite.com` link. Use that.
#### Can I filter by country, team, or keyword?
Yes. Set the filters on the careers page and paste that URL, or use `searchText` and `postedWithinDays`.
#### Do I need a login, proxies, or API keys?
No. Paste a URL and click Start.
#### Is salary included?
When the employer publishes salary, it appears in the job description.
#### A URL failed. What should I check?
Open `RUN_SUMMARY` in the run's storage and check `failedSites`. Usually the site name in the URL is misspelled (it is case-sensitive). Other URLs in the run still complete.
#### Is it legal to scrape Workday jobs?
This scraper collects only job postings that employers publish publicly, the same data the careers page shows. It doesn't log in or collect personal data about candidates or employees. It is not affiliated with Workday. Check the terms that apply to your use.
# Actor input Schema
## `startUrls` (type: `array`):
Public Workday careers URLs, e.g. https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite or https://wd1.myworkdaysite.com/recruiting/snapchat/snap. Filtered URLs copied from the careers page (with ?locations=…\&jobFamilyGroup=…\&q=…) are supported; the filters are applied automatically.
## `searchText` (type: `string`):
Optional keyword search (same as the search box on the careers page). Overrides any ?q= in the URL.
## `maxJobsPerSite` (type: `integer`):
Stop after this many jobs per career site. 0 = no limit (get everything).
## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):
Only output jobs posted in the last N days (0 = today only). Leave empty for all jobs.
## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):
Remembers jobs already returned (per site + search) in a named key-value store and outputs only jobs you haven't seen before. Schedule the Actor daily to get a clean new-jobs feed, and you only pay for new jobs.
## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):
Fetch each job's detail page for the description, posting date, country, time type, and all locations. Turn off for a faster listing-only export (title, location text, URL, posted-on text).
## `splitLargeSearches` (type: `boolean`):
Workday's API stops at 2,000 results (higher pages silently repeat page 1). When on, large searches are automatically split by Workday's own filters (job category, location, etc.) so you get every job, de-duplicated.
## `monitorStateStoreName` (type: `string`):
Named key-value store used by monitoring mode. Use different names to keep separate monitors.
## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):
Parallel requests per career site (1 to 10). Keep low to be polite.
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

All scraped job postings (one item per job).

## `runSummary` (type: `string`):

JSON summary of the run: per-site totals, skipped/failed counts, HTTP requests, retries and HTTP 429s.
