## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Company Jobs Scraper - Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable & more

Get **all open job postings from any company** - just type the company name. The Actor **automatically detects which job board the company uses** and returns every job in **one unified format**.

**$1 per 1,000 jobs.** No start fee. Data comes from the companies' official public job-board APIs - fast, complete and reliable.

### Supported job board platforms

| Platform | Example companies |
|---|---|
| Workday (paste the careers URL) | NVIDIA, Salesforce and most Fortune 500 companies |
| Greenhouse | Stripe, Airbnb, Figma |
| Lever | Palantir, Spotify |
| Ashby | OpenAI, Notion, Ramp |
| Workable | thousands of SMBs |
| SmartRecruiters | Bosch, Ubisoft, Visa |
| Recruitee | bunq and many EU companies |
| Personio | German / EU scale-ups |

### Input

Company names, domains or career page URLs - mix them freely. For **Workday** companies paste the careers URL (`https://<company>.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/<site>`); the other platforms are detected from just the company name:

```json
{
  "companies": ["stripe", "notion.so", "https://jobs.lever.co/palantir", "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite"],
  "titleKeywords": ["engineer", "data"],
  "locations": ["London", "Remote"],
  "remoteOnly": false
}
```

Filters are optional. Leave them empty to get every job.

### Output (one item per job)

```json
{
  "company": "openai",
  "title": "Technical Program Manager, Compute Infrastructure",
  "department": "Scaling",
  "location": "San Francisco",
  "remote": false,
  "workplaceType": "Onsite",
  "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "salary": {"summary": "$257K - $335K • Offers Equity"},
  "postedAt": "2026-09-12T18:03:11.000Z",
  "url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai/...",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai/.../application",
  "ats": "ashby",
  "descriptionText": "About the team ..."
}
```

A **per-company summary** (detected platform, number of jobs, notes) is saved as `SUMMARY` in the key-value store.

### Use cases

- **Recruiting & sourcing** - monitor hiring at target companies
- **Sales intelligence** - hiring signals (a company hiring 20 data engineers needs data tools)
- **Job boards & aggregators** - feed fresh jobs directly from company career pages
- **Market & salary research** - salary ranges are included when the company publishes them
- **Investors** - track headcount growth by department

### Why this Actor

- **One input, every platform** - no need to know which ATS a company uses
- **Unified schema** across 8 platforms
- **Official public APIs** - no blocking, no proxies, very low cost
- **Full descriptions** as HTML and plain text, salary when published
