## Pricing

from $2.25 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## eBay Best Offer Price Checker: What Buyers Actually Paid

When an eBay listing sells through an accepted Best Offer, eBay shows the original asking price crossed out and hides the amount the buyer actually paid. This Actor returns **the real accepted offer price** for every Best Offer sale matching your search, with up to **3 years of history** across 8 eBay marketplaces, plus a median per search.

### How far off the asking price is

We measured **5,859 accepted Best Offer sales**:

- **99.0%** sold below the asking price shown on the listing.
- The median buyer paid **14.9% less** than the asking price.
- One Rolex Submariner listed at **$24,995** sold for **$15,500**.

So any comp, repricer or price guide that reads the listing price on a Best Offer sale is biased high, in the same direction, every time. A flat discount guess does not fix it either, because the gap varies by category. Full method and data: [the Best Offer gap study](https://compsapi.com/best-offer-gap?utm_source=apify\&utm_medium=actor\&utm_campaign=best-offer-prices).

### What you get per sale

```json
{
  "keyword": "rolex submariner 126610",
  "accepted_offer_price": 14700,
  "item_id": "920076302693",
  "title": "Rolex Submariner Date 126610LN 41mm Black Dial Ceramic Bezel July 2026 Full Set",
  "last_sold": "2026-10-30T22:44:00Z",
  "price": 14700,
  "format": "FIXED_PRICE",
  "bids": 0,
  "shipping_cost": 100,
  "url": "https://www.ebay.com/itm/920076302693",
  "image": "https://i.ebayimg.com/...",
  "us_sale": true,
  "best_offer": true
}
```

Only accepted Best Offer sales are returned. A **SUMMARY** record in the run's key value store holds one line per keyword: `count`, `median`, `p25`, `p75`, `min`, `max` of the prices actually paid.

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `keywords` | One search per line, for example `rolex submariner 126610`. Minus words exclude: `iphone 15 -pro -plus`. |
| `days` | 1 to 1095 days back. Default 90. |
| `maxResults` | Max accepted offers per keyword. Default 240. |
| `maxPages` | How many pages of sales to scan per keyword. Default 5. |
| `condition` | `any`, `new`, `open_box`, `refurbished`, `used`, `parts`. |
| `site` | `US` (default), `UK`, `DE`, `FR`, `IT`, `ES`, `CA`, `AU`. Prices in USD. |
| `minPrice` / `maxPrice` | Keep only offers accepted inside this range. Set a floor to skip straps, boxes and parts. |
| `keepJunk` | Off by default. Junk listings are dropped before you pay for them. |

### What it is good for

- **Pricing a Best Offer listing.** Know what offers on your item actually close at before you counter.
- **Making an offer as a buyer.** See where sellers of this item have accepted, not where they list.
- **Correcting comps and repricers** that read the asking price on Best Offer sales.
- **Watches, sneakers, cards, cameras, electronics**: any category where most listings take offers.

### Is this the same as eBay's Product Research?

eBay's own Product Research tool (formerly Terapeak) shows accepted offer prices on screen to signed in sellers. This Actor gives you the same kind of data as structured JSON or CSV, in bulk, without a seller login, and up to 3 years back.

### FAQ

**Does it work outside the US?** Yes, 8 marketplaces. Pick one with `site`.

**Why do some rows look like parts or accessories?** eBay matches words in the title, so `rolex submariner` also matches bezel inserts. Set `minPrice`, add minus words, or make the search more specific.

**Can I use this from my own code?** Yes, through the Apify API, or as a REST API at [compsapi.com](https://compsapi.com/?utm_source=apify\&utm_medium=actor\&utm_campaign=best-offer-prices) with a free tier.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

One search per line, for example rolex submariner 126610. Minus words exclude: iphone 15 -pro -plus.

## `days` (type: `integer`):

How far back to search, 1 to 1095 days (3 years).

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Newest first.

## `maxPages` (type: `integer`):

Each page scans up to 240 sales before filtering. Narrow filters (one grader and grade) keep a few per page, so more pages find more matches.

## `condition` (type: `string`):

Only sales in this condition.

## `site` (type: `string`):

Which eBay site to search. Prices are in USD.

## `minPrice` (type: `integer`):

Only offers accepted at or above this price. Useful to skip parts and accessories.

## `maxPrice` (type: `integer`):

Only offers accepted at or below this price.

## `keepJunk` (type: `boolean`):

Off by default: listings that are not the item itself (boxes only, manuals, reprints, facsimiles, proxies, lots of unrelated items) are removed before you see or pay for them.
