## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Maps Leads Enrichment: Emails, Socials & Tech Stack

Enrich Google Maps leads or any list of business websites with emails, phones, social profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram...) and tech stack (CMS, ecommerce, pixels). Plug in a Google Maps scraper dataset ID.

### What you can use it for

- **Turn Google Maps results into outreach-ready leads**: emails + socials per place.
- **Segment by technology**: e.g. restaurants on Wix with no Meta Pixel (agency upsell).
- **CRM enrichment** for any list of company domains.
- **Local SEO / web-design agencies** qualifying prospects at scale.

### How to use it

1. Click **Try for free**, fill in the input (the defaults are a working example) and press **Start**.
2. Download results as **JSON, CSV, Excel** or HTML, or read them through the Apify API.
3. Put it on a **schedule** and connect **Slack, Google Sheets, Make, Zapier, n8n or webhooks** to get fresh data automatically.

### Input

| Field | Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `datasetId` | Google Maps dataset | Dataset from a Google Maps scraper run (e.g. compass/crawler-google-places). Place name, address, phone and rating are carried over. |
| `urls` | Website URLs | Or paste business websites directly. |
| `websiteField` | Website field name | Field in the dataset holding the website URL. |
| `detectTechStack` | Detect tech stack | CMS, ecommerce platform, analytics, ad pixels, chat & marketing tools. |
| `maxPagesPerSite` | Max pages per site | Homepage + contact/about/imprint pages. |
| `sameDomainEmailsOnly` | Prefer same-domain emails | Drop emails on other domains when the business's own domain has some. |
| `skipSitesWithoutContacts` | Skip sites with no contacts | Do not output or charge them. |
| `concurrency` | Concurrency | Parallel sites. |
| `maxItems` | Max results | Hard cap on dataset items, so you control cost. |

#### Example input

```json
{
  "urls": [
    "https://basecamp.com",
    "https://www.patagonia.com",
    "https://www.lemonade.com"
  ],
  "maxItems": 5
}
```

### Output

One dataset row per lead. Example:

```json
{
  "website": "https://joespizza.com",
  "maps_title": "Joe's Pizza",
  "maps_address": "7 Carmine St, New York, NY",
  "maps_phone": "+1 212-366-1182",
  "maps_totalScore": 4.6,
  "emails": [
    "info@joespizza.com"
  ],
  "instagram": [
    "https://www.instagram.com/joespizzanyc"
  ],
  "cms": "Squarespace",
  "technologyNames": [
    "Squarespace",
    "Google Analytics 4",
    "Meta Pixel"
  ]
}
```

The **Overview** table view shows the key columns; the full record has every field.

### Pricing

Pay per result: **$2.00 per 1,000 leads** plus a tiny $0.005 start fee. No subscription. Set **Max results** to cap your spend; Apify's per-run cost limit is respected too.

### Why this actor

- Uses official public APIs / feeds / public pages only: no login, no cookies, no personal accounts.
- Fast HTTP-only (no browser), so it's cheap and reliable at volume.
- Retries, rate-limit back-off and clear warnings: one bad input never kills the run.

### FAQ

**How do I connect a Google Maps run?** Copy the run's **Dataset ID** (Storage tab) into `datasetId`, or chain it as an integration ("Run actor after another"), passing `{"datasetId": "{{resource.defaultDatasetId}}"}`.

**What is collected?** Only contact details published on the business website itself, mostly business addresses (info@, sales@). Use in line with GDPR/CAN-SPAM.

**Need a field or source added?** Open an issue on the Issues tab; we usually ship fixes within days.
