## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Logseq Marketplace Plugins Scraper

Export the **entire [Logseq](https://logseq.com) plugin marketplace** (about 620 plugins and themes) as clean, structured data: plugin ID, title, author, description, GitHub repository, **stars, open issues**, push dates and the date each plugin was added to the marketplace.

There is no other Logseq plugins scraper on Apify Store. If you build Logseq plugins, research the personal-knowledge-management (PKM) ecosystem, or want to track which plugins are growing, this Actor gives you the whole marketplace in a couple of seconds.

### What can it do?

- **Full marketplace export.** It merges Logseq's official plugin catalog with the marketplace's GitHub stats snapshot, so every plugin comes with stars and issue counts.
- **Keyword search.** Filter by ID, title, author, description or repo (for example `ai`, `calendar`, `todo`).
- **Star threshold.** Keep only plugins above a minimum GitHub star count.
- **Sort.** Most stars, name A-Z, recently pushed, or recently added to the marketplace.
- **Themes flagged.** A `theme` boolean separates themes from functional plugins.
- **Fast and cheap.** Two JSON requests. No browser, no proxy, no login. Runs in seconds on 256 MB.

### Use cases

- Plugin authors benchmarking stars against competing plugins
- PKM and note-taking market research (which plugin categories exist and grow)
- Lead lists of open-source developers and their GitHub repositories
- Finding stale or abandoned plugins (sort by `updated`) to fork or replace
- Spotting new plugins as soon as they land (sort by `added`, schedule daily)

### Input

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `searchQuery` | string | Optional keyword. Empty = whole marketplace. |
| `minStars` | integer | Skip plugins below this GitHub star count. |
| `sortBy` | `stars` / `name` / `updated` / `added` | Result order. |
| `maxItems` | integer | Max results (default 100; set 1000 for the full marketplace). |

Example: AI-related plugins with at least 10 stars, newest first:

```json
{ "searchQuery": "ai", "minStars": 10, "sortBy": "added", "maxItems": 100 }
```

### Output

```json
{
  "id": "logseq-agenda",
  "title": "Agenda",
  "description": "An agenda manager plugin for logseq",
  "author": "haydenull",
  "repo": "haydenull/logseq-plugin-agenda",
  "theme": false,
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-14T07:28:57+00:00"
}
```

Export to JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML, or pull results through the Apify API, webhooks, Make, Zapier or n8n.

### Pricing

Free to use right now: you pay only the tiny Apify platform usage of your own run (a full-marketplace run uses well under $0.01). Pay-per-result pricing may be added later, with advance notice as Apify requires.

### FAQ

**Is it legal?** The Actor reads only the public, unauthenticated catalog files that the Logseq app itself uses (`plugins.json` and `stats.json` in the official [`logseq/marketplace`](https://github.com/logseq/marketplace) repository). It collects no personal data beyond the public author names in each plugin's manifest.

**How fresh is the data?** The catalog is fetched live on every run. Star and issue counts come from the marketplace's own stats snapshot, which the Logseq team refreshes periodically.

**Something broken or a field missing?** Open an issue on the Actor's Issues tab.
