## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Website Contact Details Extractor: Emails, Phones & Socials

Extract business emails, phone numbers and social profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok...) from websites. Scans home, contact, about and imprint pages. Fast bulk lead enrichment.

### What you can use it for

- **Lead enrichment**: turn a list of domains (e.g. from Google Maps) into emails and socials.
- **Agency prospecting** and partnership outreach.
- **Data hygiene**: refresh contact info in your CRM.
- **Influencer/brand discovery**: get social handles for brand sites.

### How to use it

1. Click **Try for free**, fill in the input (the defaults are a working example) and press **Start**.
2. Download results as **JSON, CSV, Excel** or HTML, or read them through the Apify API.
3. Put it on a **schedule** and connect **Slack, Google Sheets, Make, Zapier, n8n or webhooks** to get fresh data automatically.

### Input

| Field | Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `urls` | Websites | URLs or bare domains. |
| `maxPagesPerSite` | Max pages per site | Homepage + contact/about/imprint pages. |
| `sameDomainEmailsOnly` | Prefer same-domain emails | Drop emails from other domains when the site's own domain has some. |
| `skipSitesWithoutContacts` | Skip sites with nothing found | Do not output (or charge) sites with no contacts. |
| `concurrency` | Concurrency | Parallel sites. |
| `maxItems` | Max results | Hard cap on dataset items, so you control cost. |

#### Example input

```json
{
  "urls": [
    "https://basecamp.com",
    "https://www.patagonia.com",
    "https://www.lemonade.com"
  ],
  "maxItems": 5
}
```

### Output

One dataset row per website. Example:

```json
{
  "domain": "example.com",
  "emails": [
    "hello@example.com",
    "sales@example.com"
  ],
  "phones": [
    "+14155550100"
  ],
  "linkedin": [
    "https://www.linkedin.com/company/example"
  ],
  "instagram": [
    "https://www.instagram.com/example"
  ],
  "pagesScanned": [
    "https://example.com/",
    "https://example.com/contact"
  ]
}
```

The **Overview** table view shows the key columns; the full record has every field.

### Pricing

Pay per result: **$1.50 per 1,000 websites** plus a tiny $0.005 start fee. No subscription. Set **Max results** to cap your spend; Apify's per-run cost limit is respected too.

### Why this actor

- Uses official public APIs / feeds / public pages only: no login, no cookies, no personal accounts.
- Fast HTTP-only (no browser), so it's cheap and reliable at volume.
- Retries, rate-limit back-off and clear warnings: one bad input never kills the run.

### FAQ

**What data is collected?** Only contact details published on the public website itself (mostly business addresses like info@/sales@). Use the data in line with GDPR/CAN-SPAM.

**Failed sites?** Unreachable sites are reported with an error and are not charged.

**Need a field or source added?** Open an issue on the Issues tab; we usually ship fixes within days.
