## GitHub Repository Health Auditor

Audit public GitHub repositories for maintenance activity, licensing, archive state, releases, popularity, issue availability, topics, and core project metadata. It uses GitHub's public REST API without requiring a customer token, browser, or proxy.

### Use cases

- Screen open-source dependencies before adoption.
- Review inactive, archived, unlicensed, or poorly documented repositories.
- Enrich vendor, SBOM, and due-diligence datasets.
- Give CI workflows and AI agents a compact repository-health record.

### Input

Provide 1–20 `owner/repository` values or github.com repository URLs.

One dataset row per public repository found, including score, activity age, release age, archive state, license, language, stars, forks, issues, watchers, branch and topic metadata, plus recommendations. Missing/private repositories and failed requests are uncharged errors.

### Pricing

Pay per event: a small Actor-start event plus `$0.005` per repository successfully fetched and audited. Platform usage is included.

### Limits

GitHub's anonymous API has a shared rate limit. Runs are capped at 20 repositories and use conservative concurrency. A rate-limit response is reported without charging the repository event. Scores are deterministic screening signals, not security guarantees or endorsements.
