## PyPI Package Health Auditor

Audit public Python packages for release freshness, yanked status, licensing, Python compatibility, dependency count, wheels, source distributions, project links, and PyPI vulnerability records. It uses PyPI's public JSON API and needs no API key, browser, proxy, or customer account.

### Use cases

- Screen Python dependencies before adoption.
- Find stale, yanked, or incompletely packaged releases.
- Enrich SBOM and dependency inventories with current PyPI metadata.
- Schedule lightweight package checks for CI and AI agents.

### Input

Provide 1–50 package names or pypi.org project URLs.

### Output

One dataset row per package found with the latest version, publish age, health score, licensing, compatibility, distribution formats, dependency count, vulnerability count, recommendations, and PyPI URL. Missing packages and failed requests are written to `ERRORS` and are not charged as package audits.

Pay per event: a small Actor-start event plus `$0.005` for each package successfully fetched and audited. Platform usage is included.

### Limits and privacy

Results reflect public PyPI metadata and deterministic heuristics, not a complete security audit. The Actor never downloads, installs, imports, or executes packages. Package names are sent only to `pypi.org`.
