## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Turkish Competition Authority Decisions (Rekabet Kurumu) Scraper

Every decision of the **Turkish Competition Board** (Rekabet Kurulu) — **merger and acquisition clearances, competition infringement cases, exemptions and privatizations** — as clean, structured JSON. English labels, extracted company names, full decision text from the official PDFs, and optional English summaries with the outcome.

Built for **M\&A lawyers, antitrust practitioners, deal advisers, investors, researchers and AI agents** who need to follow Turkish merger control and enforcement without reading a Turkish-only website.

### Why

Any transaction above Turkish turnover thresholds needs Competition Board clearance, so global deals regularly appear in Turkish decisions. The official site lists over 10,000 decisions, in Turkish only, as PDFs. This Actor turns them into data you can filter, alert on and feed into your tools.

### What you get

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| `publishedDate` | `2026-10-05` |
| `decisionDate` | `2026-05-21` |
| `decisionNumber` | `26-19/565-211` |
| `type` / `typeCode` | `Merger & Acquisition` / `merger` |
| `title` | `Lider Sistem Teknolojileri AŞ ile Mia Teknoloji AŞ’nin birleşmesi işlemi.` |
| `companies` | `["Lider Sistem Teknolojileri AŞ", "Mia Teknoloji AŞ"]` (best-effort, from the title) |
| `dealType` | `merger`, `acquisition of sole control`, `joint venture`… (mergers only) |
| `fullText` | Full Turkish text of the decision |
| `pdfPageCount` | `7` |
| `pdfUrl` | Link to the official decision PDF |
| `relatedCourtCasesUrl` | Link to court cases about the decision, when the site shows one |
| `titleEn`, `summaryEn`, `outcomeEn`, `marketsEn` | Optional English title, summary, outcome (e.g. *Cleared unconditionally*, *Fine imposed*) and markets |

Decision types: mergers & acquisitions, competition infringements, negative clearance & exemptions, privatizations, other.

### How to use it

- **Latest merger decisions** — default input returns the 10 most recently published merger decisions.
- **Monitor** — schedule it daily or weekly with *Published from* set to a recent date to get only new decisions.
- **Find a company** — add its name to *Keywords* (tick *search in full text* to also match parties named only inside the decision).
- **English** — add your own OpenAI API key for English titles, summaries and outcomes. The key is stored as a secret input and is only sent to OpenAI.

#### Example input

```json
{
  "decisionTypes": ["merger", "infringement"],
  "publishedFrom": "2026-09-01",
  "keywords": ["enerji", "Siemens"],
  "includeFullText": true
}
```

### Use with AI agents (MCP)

Works as a tool for AI agents through the [Apify MCP server](https://mcp.apify.com): ask *"Which Turkish merger clearances involving energy companies were published this month?"* and let your agent call this Actor.

### Pricing

Pay per result: you are charged per decision returned. Use *Max decisions* to cap the cost of a run.

### Data source and legal note

All data comes from the official website of the Turkish Competition Authority, [rekabet.gov.tr](https://www.rekabet.gov.tr), where the Board's decisions are published as required by Law No. 4054. Each result links back to the official PDF. Company names are extracted automatically from titles and may be incomplete. English titles and summaries are machine-generated and are **not** official translations; rely on the Turkish original for legal purposes. This Actor is not affiliated with the Turkish Competition Authority.
