### Added

### Compatibility

- Backward-compatibility fix: `matchingMode` has no schema-level default. Expert inputs using `tedQuery` and omitting `matchingMode` therefore reach the engine unchanged and retain legacy matching; simple inputs still default to `words` inside the engine.

Existing expert inputs using `tedQuery` remain supported. When an old expert input omits `matchingMode`, legacy substring matching is preserved intentionally.

### Important limits

Matching is deterministic and literal, not semantic AI. Missing TED values remain missing. A `competition` notice category does not guarantee that its submission deadline is still open. Recurring history is notice-level and does not promise exactly-once delivery across every possible crash boundary.
