## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## France Industrial Buildings · Hangars by City

List **French IGN hangars** (industrial / agricultural / greenhouse / silo). You get a **house number only when it sits on the same cadastral parcel** — plus roof plan and optional company flags.

**No login. No API key. Address only when it sits on the same parcel.**

Looking for **any large roof**? Use **[France Building Roofs · Size by City](https://apify.com/corent1robert/france-building-roofs)**.\
Looking for **gardens**? Use **[France Garden Plots · Landscapers by City](https://apify.com/corent1robert/france-garden-plots)**.\
Looking for **pools or tennis**? Use **[France Pools & Tennis · Cadastre Plots](https://apify.com/corent1robert/france-pool-tennis-plots)**.

### Who is this for?

| You are… | Typical goal | Suggested setup |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Cladding / warehouse roof | Mid-size sheds in a city | City + 200 m², verified only |
| PV / agri buildings | Larger footprints | 400 m² |
| B2B at the number | Holdings / SCI | Company lookup on |

This Actor does **not** say whether a hangar needs work. It lists **IGN-tagged industrial/agri buildings** large enough to be a job, with a reachable address.

### What it extracts

One **row per building** (IGN `cleabs`) whose **nature or usage** matches industrial / agri / serre / silo and whose **roof plan** is ≥ your threshold.

| Field | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| `usageGroup` | `industrial` / `agricultural` / `greenhouse` / `silo` / `commercial_or_mixed` |
| `buildingNature` | IGN nature (often “Industriel, agricole ou commercial”) |
| `buildingUsage` | IGN `usage_1` when published — filter commercial yourself |
| `roofPlanM2` | Plan of that building |
| `address` + `addressStatus` | `verified` only if the house-number point is inside the parcel |
| `parcelIdu` | Cadastre lot under the building |
| `siren`, `companyLegalForm`, `directors` | Optional, verified addresses only |

### How to use

1. Open the Actor in [Apify Console](https://console.apify.com).
2. Enter a **city** (try **Cannes**), keep min roof plan at **200 m²** and max rows at 25.
3. Click **Start**.
4. Download CSV / Excel from the dataset.

### Ready-made examples

| Example | Best for |
| --- | --- |
| [Cannes hangars ≥ 200 m²](https://apify.com/corent1robert/france-industrial-buildings/examples/cannes-hangars-200) | First run |
| [Nice hangars ≥ 400 m²](https://apify.com/corent1robert/france-industrial-buildings/examples/nice-hangars-400) | Larger sheds |
| [Antibes 06400 ≥ 200 m²](https://apify.com/corent1robert/france-industrial-buildings/examples/antibes-hangars-200) | Postcode territory |
| [Cannes hangars with SIREN](https://apify.com/corent1robert/france-industrial-buildings/examples/cannes-hangars-siren) | Company at the number |

Paste a verified `address` into **[French Property Intel](https://apify.com/corent1robert/french-property-intel-hub)** for DPE, flood/clay, value and yield — billed **per dossier**, not per cadastral row.

### Input

| Field | Default |
| --- | --- |
| City, postcode or department | Cannes |
| Minimum roof plan (m²) | 200 |
| Unverified house numbers | Drop |
| Company lookup | off |
| Max rows | 25 (`0` or `null` = no cap; Free plan 20 / run) |

### Output example

```json
{
  "city": "Cannes",
  "address": "1 Allée des Mouettes 06150 Cannes",
  "addressStatus": "verified",
  "roofPlanM2": 1151,
  "usageGroup": "industrial",
  "buildingUsage": "Industriel",
  "buildingNature": "Industriel, agricole ou commercial",
  "parcelIdu": "06029000CK0027",
  "googleMapsUrl": "https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=1%20All%C3%A9e%20des%20Mouettes%2006150%20Cannes"
}
```

### Pricing

Pay-per-event (platform usage included — HTTP open data only).

| You get | Free / 1,000 |
| --- | --- |
| Verified hangar | **$1.29** |
| Verified hangar + published company | **$2.79** |
| Unverified (Flag mode) | **$0.39** |

Actor start is $0.00005 / GB. Free Apify accounts export **20 rows per run**.

### Limits (read this)

- IGN **lumps industrial, agricultural and commercial** in one nature. Use `buildingUsage` to filter.
- Roof 3D m² (`roofAreaM2`) is a gable estimate when Z exists — not LiDAR.
- Start with **one city**. A whole department can hit the run timeout.
- No particulier owner names.

### Also available

**[France Building Roofs · Size by City](https://apify.com/corent1robert/france-building-roofs)** — roof plan ≥ X m² (any nature).\
**[France Building Heights · Facades by City](https://apify.com/corent1robert/france-building-heights)** — height ≥ X m.\
**[France Garden Plots · Landscapers by City](https://apify.com/corent1robert/france-garden-plots)** — garden ≥ X m².\
**[France Pools & Tennis · Cadastre Plots](https://apify.com/corent1robert/france-pool-tennis-plots)** — mapped pool or tennis/padel.\
**[French Property Intel](https://apify.com/corent1robert/french-property-intel-hub)** — DPE, hazards, yield from a street address.

# Actor input Schema

## `locations` (type: `array`):

French **commune name**, **postcode** (06400) or **department** (06). Start with one city — a whole department can time out.

## `minRoofPlanM2` (type: `integer`):

Keep matching IGN buildings whose plan roof is at least this. Set **0** to keep every hangar in the commune (WFS still caps ~40k features).

## `unverifiedAddressPolicy` (type: `string`):

**Drop** (default) keeps only addresses proven on the same parcel. **Flag** also exports neighbours / street-only hits as unverified.

## `enrichCompanies` (type: `boolean`):

When the address is verified, attach SIREN / SCI / SAS / association and published directors. Off by default.

## `excludePublicPlaces` (type: `boolean`):

Mark buildings that look like a public place. Currently skipped if Maps quota is unavailable — rows are never silently deleted.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

How many buildings to export. **0 or null = no cap** (timeout still applies). Free Apify accounts: 20 per run.
