## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Getaround Car Listings · Export by Search URL

Build a **table of public Getaround cars** from one or more **search URLs**: model, listed price, Connect vs meetup, ratings, listing URL.

**No login. No API key. No Getaround account.** Free plan: **20 listings per run.**

### Who is this for?

| You are… | Typical goal | Suggested setup |
|----------|--------------|-----------------|
| Fleet / P2P investor | Which model near a gare | Paste the Getaround search URL, max **20** then paid bulk |
| Market research | Mix + weekend prices | Paste a search URL **that already has dates** |
| Travel ops | Connect cars at arrival | Pickup **Connect only** |
| Data / ops | Multi-city sample | Several search URLs · max **0** on a paid plan |
| Agency | Client snapshot | Paste the client’s Getaround search URL |

**What you get by default.** Title, brand, model, year, hourly and listed daily price (catalogue), pickup method, instant book, approximate coordinates, public listing URL. **No owner phone or email** — Getaround does not publish those on search.

**Dated 24h prices.** Search with dates on Getaround first, then paste that URL. No dates on the link = catalogue hourly/daily labels.

### How to use

1. On Getaround, search a place (and dates if you need a quote).
2. Copy the **results URL** from the browser.
3. Paste it (or several) into the Actor. Keep max **20**. Click **Start**.
4. Export JSON / CSV / Excel.

### Ready-made examples (published tasks)

Saved Console tasks. Public Examples after publication quota allows.

### What it extracts

| Field | Meaning |
|-------|---------|
| `title` / `model` / `year` | Public listing title |
| `priceHour` / `priceDayListed` | Catalogue labels (empty on dated runs) |
| `priceShown` | Number parsed from the visible price (hourly **or** 24h quote) |
| `pickupMethod` | Connect vs meetup |
| `ratingValue` / `ratingCount` | Public reviews |
| `listingUrl` | Public car page |

The public list often **stops near 1,000 cars** even when the site shows a higher total.

### How much does it cost to scrape Getaround listings?

| | Free | Bronze | Silver | Gold |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Per unique car | $0.001 | $0.0009 | $0.0008 | $0.0007 |
| 20 cars | **~$0.02** | ~$0.02 | ~$0.02 | ~$0.02 |
| 1,000 cars | **~$1.00** | ~$0.90 | ~$0.80 | ~$0.70 |

Actor start **$0.00005**. Free plan: **20 rows / run**. HTTP-only (cheap compute).

### Is it legal to scrape Getaround?

This Actor only reads **public search listings** Getaround shows without an account. There is **no owner contact**. Use of the data must comply with Getaround terms, GDPR and your local rules. This is not investment advice.

### Input

| Field | Notes |
|-------|--------|
| `searchUrls` | Getaround search result links (place + dates live on the URL) |
| `maxItems` | **0** = no numerical cap · Free plan still **20** |
| `pickupMethod` | `all` / `connect` / `meetup` |

API-only: `searchUrl` (single string), `nearCity` (legacy), `latitude`, `longitude`, `address`, `countryScope`, `verboseLogs`, `proxyConfiguration`.

### How it works

1. Read each pasted search URL (map pin + dates on the link).
2. Walk the public search list.
3. Deduplicate by listing id.
4. Export one row per car.

### Output sample

```json
{
