# PrestaShop Addons · Publisher Emails (`corent1robert/prestashop-addons-unique-authors`) Actor

Unique PrestaShop Addons publishers (not per module): name, country, listed products, rating, Addons profile. Addons does not publish emails — this is a publisher catalog, not an inbox file.

## Pricing

from $3.50 / 1,000 author scrapeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

### What does PrestaShop Addons Unique Publishers do?

This Actor is a **PrestaShop Addons publisher catalog** (a public **Addons authors API alternative**). It reads [addons.prestashop.com](https://addons.prestashop.com) and exports **one row per unique author** — not one row per module.

It is **not** an email scraper. Addons routes support through a **contact form**. Email, phone and marketing website are almost never public. Empty contact fields are expected, not a failed scrape.

Each row is the **publisher file**:

- **Name** when Addons lists a studio (independents often appear as `Community developer` → name stays empty, id is in `developerUrl`)
- **Country, listed products, average rating, certified, support languages**
- **Addons profile URL** and **one sample module** (title, price, rating)

Two invoice modules under the same editor produce **one row**. That is the product.

Need inboxes? Shopify and Chrome publish `mailto` far more often: [Shopify App Store Developer Contacts](https://apify.com/corent1robert/shopify-app-developer-contacts) · [Chrome Web Store Unique Emails](https://apify.com/corent1robert/chrome-web-store-developer-contacts).

### Why scrape PrestaShop Addons publishers?

Agencies, SaaS, and marketplaces sell to **module editors**, not shop owners. You need unique `contributor` ids with portfolio size — not a duplicate row per module.

| You are… | Typical goal | Suggested setup |
|---|---|---|
| PrestaShop / ecom agency | Editors in a niche (`invoice`, Payment) | Search `invoice` · Max 20 |
| SaaS / ERP vendor | Unique publishers + module count | Category Payment · Max 100 |
| Marketplace / analyst | Full unique-publisher file | Full catalog (paid) · ~500 authors |

On Apify you can **schedule** runs, download **JSON / CSV / Excel**, and call the Actor from the **API** (Sheets, Make, n8n).

### What data can this PrestaShop Addons scraper extract?

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `developerName`, `developerId`, `developerUrl` | Studio name when public; always a contributor id + profile URL |
| `country`, `certified`, `listedProducts`, `averageRating` | Publisher stats from the product JSON |
| `responseTime`, `yearsOnAddons`, `supportLanguages` | Support metadata when Addons sends it |
| `moduleId`, `moduleTitle`, `moduleUrl`, `modulePrice`, `moduleScore` | Sample module for this author |
| `developerEmail`, `developerWebsite` | **Usually null.** Copied only if Addons publishes them (rare). Never guessed. |
| `sourceQuery`, `scrapedAt` | Run metadata |

Not extracted: phone numbers, private inboxes, guessed `info@` on a marketing site, PrestaShop merchant stores.

### How to scrape PrestaShop Addons unique publishers

1. Open this Actor in Apify Console.
2. **Step 1 — Mode:** leave **Search** (a niche) or switch to **Full catalog** (unique authors from All modules + Themes + Services, paid). Catalog ignores keyword and category.
3. **Step 2 — Search** (Search mode only): keep `invoice`, or paste a module / author URL. Optionally pick a category.
4. Leave **Max authors** at 20 for a first run. Full public catalog is about **500 unique publishers**, not 20,000 shops.
5. Click **Start**. Download JSON, CSV, or Excel. Use the **Publisher file** view (name, country, modules, rating, profile).

In Search mode, query **or** category is required. Full catalog is paid Apify plans only.

**Apify Residential proxy is always on** on the platform. There is no toggle. Default timeout is **4 hours**.

### How much does it cost to scrape PrestaShop Addons publishers?

**Pay-per-event.** Actor start is **$0.00005**. You pay per **unique publisher** written to the dataset — not per module.

Priced as a **catalog file** ($2 / 1k on Free), not as an email list. Shopify unique publishers with public emails are ~$5 / 1k. This Actor does not claim an inbox.

**Free plan:** a run stops at **20 publishers**. Search: paid plans up to **2,000**. Full catalog (paid): up to **20,000** (the live marketplace has ~500 unique authors).

| Apify plan | Per publisher | Per 1,000 |
|---|---|---|
| Free | **$0.002** | **$2.00** |
| Bronze | **$0.0018** | **$1.80** |
| Silver | **$0.0016** | **$1.60** |
| Gold | **$0.0014** | **$1.40** |
| Platinum | **$0.0012** | **$1.20** |
| Diamond | **$0.001** | **$1.00** |

| Run | Approx. cost (Free) |
|---|---|
| Default / Free cap (20) | **$0.04** |
| 100 publishers | **$0.20** |
| Full public catalog (~500) | **~$1.00** |

Set **Max authors** and a **max total charge**. Default memory is **512 MB** (HTTP JSON only). Residential proxy traffic is billed by Apify Proxy.

### Input

See the **Input** tab.

| Field | Why it exists |
|---|---|
| Mode | Search a niche, or walk the public module + theme + services listings |
| Keyword / URL | `invoice`, a module `.html` URL, or an author `/{id}_{slug}` / `?contributor=` URL |
| Category | Payment, SEO, invoicing… unioned with the keyword |
| Max authors | Unique `developerId` cap |
| Require public email | Optional filter. Almost all rows are skipped if **Yes** — Addons does not publish mailto. |

### Output

You can download the dataset in JSON, HTML, CSV, or Excel.

```json
{
  "developerName": "Idnovate",
  "developerId": "195866",
  "developerUrl": "https://addons.prestashop.com/en/109_idnovate",
  "developerEmail": null,
  "developerWebsite": null,
  "listedProducts": 74,
  "averageRating": 4.7,
  "country": "Spain",
  "certified": true,
  "moduleTitle": "Promotions and discounts",
  "sourceQuery": "catalog",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-08-19T12:00:00.000Z"
}
```

### Tips

- Start with **Max authors = 20** and `invoice`.
- Use **developerUrl** as the stable key for CRM / outreach, not email.
- Independents: empty `developerName` is normal (`Community developer` is a placeholder).
- Full catalog ≈ **500 unique publishers** after dedupe.

### FAQ

#### Why is the email empty?

Addons uses **Ask a question** (`contact-form.php`). This Actor does not guess addresses. Buy Shopify / Chrome Actors if you need a `mailto`.

#### Is one row one module?

No. One row is one author id. Five modules from the same editor are one charge.

#### Do I need a PrestaShop login?

No. Public marketplace JSON only.

#### Can I scrape every author?

**Full catalog** (paid) paginates All modules, Themes and Services. Expect ~500 unique publishers, not every PrestaShop merchant shop.

**Search (default):** use Step 2 (keyword and/or category).

**Full catalog (paid):** walks All modules + Themes listings and dedupes by author id. Leave Step 2 empty — it is ignored. Set Max authors to how many publishers you will pay for (up to 20,000). Free Apify plans cannot use Full catalog.

## `query` (type: `string`):

Examples: `invoice` · `https://addons.prestashop.com/en/invoicing-accounting/23557-custom-invoices.html` · `https://addons.prestashop.com/en/257_comptoir-du-code` · `https://addons.prestashop.com/en/2_community-developer?contributor=107442`
