## Changelog

#### 2026-11-02

*Features*

- Every run now ends with a status message saying how many jobs you got, for which search,
place and filters, and why there were not more.

*Fixes*

- A search StepStone could not answer is no longer reported as "no jobs found". If nothing
could be read, the run fails with a clear message and no charge. If some searches
worked, the run succeeds and the status names the ones that did not.
- A search link StepStone does not have now stops with a clear message, instead of
  finishing empty.
- A job link for a job that has been taken down is now reported as no longer online.
- A run with nothing to search for (no keywords, company or links) now stops with a clear
message. Before, it finished empty, which looked like a search with no matches.
- Links from other websites are no longer fetched as StepStone searches. A run given only
such links now stops with a clear message.

#### 2026-10-18

*Features*

- Search several places in one run: separate them with commas in Location. Every keyword runs in every place, a job found twice is delivered once, and each job says which search found it in the new searchLocation field.
- Company: get only one employer's jobs, by its StepStone company ID or company page link. It also works without a keyword, to get all of that employer's jobs.
- Incremental mode now dates every job: firstSeenAt, lastSeenAt, and expiredAt on EXPIRED jobs. For jobs your monitor already tracked before this update, the first-seen time is your previous run.
- Include related jobs: an option to also get the jobs from nearby areas and nationwide that StepStone adds when a search has few matches.

*Fixes*

- Keywords with symbols, such as .NET, C#, C++, Node.js or ASP.NET, are now searched exactly as typed. Before, .NET searched for "net" and C# and C++ for "c", which returned unrelated jobs.
- With several keywords or places, Max results is now shared between them, so every search gets its turn instead of the first one using it all up.
- A results page that stopped loading halfway is now fetched again instead of failing the search.
- In incremental mode, jobs are reported EXPIRED only when the run read the whole search. Before, a search capped by Max results or Max pages could report jobs that were still online but just outside the cap as EXPIRED.

*Breaking changes*

- By default a search now returns only the jobs StepStone counts as matches. The nearby and nationwide filler that thin searches used to include (often hundreds of jobs) is left out unless you switch on Include related jobs.

#### 2026-10-18

*Features*

- You only pay for complete jobs: with details on, a job page that fails is tried once more, and if it still can't be read the job is left out and not charged. Max results is still filled from the next jobs, and the run's status says how many were left out.

*Fixes*

- Jobs that went offline between the search and their page are no longer delivered, and charged, without a description.
- In incremental mode, a job that could not be delivered, because its page failed or the run's maximum cost was reached, is no longer remembered as seen. It arrives on a later run.
- When every job page keeps failing, the run now stops with a clear error instead of reading page after page of the search.

#### 2026-10-18

*Features*

- Belgium (stepstone.be) now works alongside Germany and Austria, and job links from any of the three sites can be pasted as Start URLs.
- StepStone's own salary estimate for a job arrives in new estimatedSalaryMin, estimatedSalaryMax, estimatedSalaryCurrency and estimatedSalaryPeriod fields, kept apart from pay the employer advertises. It is there even with details off whenever the search results show it.
- New company profile fields: companyEmployees, companyIndustries, companyRating, companyReviewCount, companyOpenJobs, companyAddress, companyAbout and companyBenefits.
- Each job ad also comes split into aboutEmployer, responsibilities, requirements, benefits and additionalInfo, ready for spreadsheets and AI tools.
- New fields contractType, workType, badges, postedDaysAgo, validThrough (also with details off), sourceDomain and descriptionLength, plus the emails and phone numbers written in the ad (contactEmails, contactPhones).
- Output fields: pick exactly which fields you get, in your order.
- The connection now looks after itself: a group picked under Proxy configuration is ignored and saved inputs keep working. Your own proxy URLs are still used exactly as given.

*Breaking changes*

- salaryMin, salaryMax, salaryCurrency and salaryPeriod now hold only the salary the employer advertised. Before, they could hold StepStone's estimate, which now arrives in the estimatedSalary fields. salaryPeriod now reads YEAR, MONTH, WEEK, DAY or HOUR.

#### 2026-08-11
