## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## France Travail Jobs Scraper: French Job Offers by Department

**France Travail Jobs Scraper** exports job offers from France Travail (formerly Pôle emploi), France's public employment service and its largest job board, as clean JSON, CSV or Excel. It reads the same public search and offer pages the site shows, with no login and no API key:

- ✅ **By department or region**: Paris (`75`), Rhône (`69`), Corsica (`2A`), overseas (`971`) or a whole region (`11R` Île-de-France).
- ✅ **Title filter**: keep only offers whose title contains `serveur`, `développeur`, ... (case and accents ignored). You pay only for matching offers.
- ✅ **Contract**: CDI, CDD, Intérim, ..., full or part time, weekly hours.
- ✅ **Salary** as shown, plus parsed min, max and period (hour, month, year).
- ✅ **Location**: department, town, postcode and INSEE commune code.
- ✅ **Sector and occupation**, employer, description start, publication date.
- ✅ Deduplicated across pages and locations; fast plain HTTP requests, no browser. Pay only for offers written to your dataset.

### Start in one minute

Click **Start** with the prefilled input:

```json
{
  "locations": ["75"],
  "maxItems": 20,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true
  }
}
```

You get: 20 job offers in Paris with `title`, `employer`, `contractType`, `salary`, `workingHours`, `location`, `postalCode`, `sector`, `publishedDate` and `url`.

**Cost:** $0.04: 20 offers × $0.002, plus the $0.00005 actor-start fee.

### Use with an AI assistant

Connect the [Apify MCP server](https://mcp.apify.com) to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client (`https://mcp.apify.com?tools=cprussin/france-travail-jobs` loads only this actor), then paste:

```text
Use the Apify actor cprussin/france-travail-jobs to find 50 "serveur" offers in department 69 and list employer, contract, salary and town.
```

### Recipes

#### One job title across several departments

Developer offers in Paris, Hauts-de-Seine and Rhône.

```json
{
  "locations": ["75", "92", "69"],
  "titleContains": ["développeur", "developer"],
  "maxItems": 200
}
```

#### Fast list without offer pages

Search data only (title, employer, contract, location, date): about 20x faster.

```json
{
  "locations": ["13"],
  "includeDetails": false,
  "maxItems": 500
}
```

#### Hiring employers in a region

Recent offers in Occitanie for a list of employers that are hiring.

```json
{
  "locations": ["76R"],
  "maxItems": 1000
}
```

### Who uses France Travail data?

- **Recruiters and staffing agencies**: find employers hiring in a department and their contract types.
- **Job seekers and career services**: track new offers for a job title in several departments.
- **Labour-market analysts and journalists**: salaries, contract mix and sectors by area.
- **HR tech and job boards**: feed French job offers into a search or matching product.
- **AI agents**: give an LLM live French job offers through the Apify API or MCP server.

### How does the France Travail scraper work?

1. It checks candidat.francetravail.fr/robots.txt and only fetches allowed URLs (never keyword searches, which robots.txt disallows; the title filter is applied by the actor instead).
2. It loads the search page for each location, e.g. `/offres/recherche?lieux=75D&range=0-19`, 20 offers per page.
3. It follows `range=20-39`, `range=40-59`, ... until `maxItems` offers or the end of the results.
4. With **Include offer details** on (default), it also opens each offer page for salary, hours, postcode, sector and occupation.

### How do I choose which offers to scrape?

| Field                | Description                                       | Example                     |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------- |
| `locations`          | Department codes, or region codes ending in R     | `["75", "2A", "11R"]`       |
| `titleContains`      | Keep offers whose title contains one of the words | `["serveur", "cuisinier"]`  |
| `maxItems`           | Max offers in total                               | `500`                       |
| `includeDetails`     | Open each offer page (salary, hours, sector)      | `true`                      |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Apify Proxy (on by default; datacenter is enough) | `{ "useApifyProxy": true }` |

- **Region codes**: `11R` Île-de-France, `24R` Centre-Val de Loire, `27R` Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, `28R` Normandie, `32R` Hauts-de-France, `44R` Grand Est, `52R` Pays de la Loire, `53R` Bretagne, `75R` Nouvelle-Aquitaine, `76R` Occitanie, `84R` Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, `93R` Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, `94R` Corse.
- **About 1,000 offers per location**: France Travail stops paging there, so split a region into its departments for more.

### What data do you get for each offer?

```json
{
  "id": "215WKYS",
  "title": "Travailleur Social (H/F)",
  "employer": "ALFI",
  "contractType": "CDI",
  "workTime": "Temps plein",
  "workingHours": "37H30/semaine",
  "salary": "Annuel de 31000.0 Euros à 34000.0 Euros",
  "salaryMin": 31000,
  "salaryMax": 34000,
  "salaryPeriod": "year",
  "location": "75 - Paris 18e Arrondissement",
  "department": "75",
  "postalCode": "75018",
  "communeCode": "75118",
  "sector": "Social",
  "occupation": "Médiateur familial",
  "descriptionSnippet": "Rattaché(e) à la Coordinatrice Sociale du Secteur Paris, vous accompagnez les résidents dans leur parcours résidentiel...",
  "publishedText": "Publié aujourd'hui",
  "publishedDate": "2026-10-30",
  "source": "France Travail",
  "url": "https://candidat.francetravail.fr/offres/recherche/detail/215WKYS",
  "searchLocation": "75D",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-30T13:50:03.036Z"
}
```

With **Include offer details** off, `workingHours`, `salary*`, `postalCode`, `communeCode`, `sector` and `occupation` are null.

### How much does it cost to scrape France Travail?

Pay per event:

- **$0.002 per offer** ($2 per 1,000), with or without details.
- $0.00005 per run start. Platform compute is included.

### FAQ

**Why can't I search by keyword?** France Travail's robots.txt disallows keyword searches (`motsCles`), so the actor searches by location and filters titles itself. Offers that don't match are never billed.

**Why is the salary empty for some offers?** Many employers don't publish a salary; `salary` is null then.

**Where are the full description, experience and contact details?** The offer page loads them with JavaScript from a separate service, which this actor does not call. Open `url` for the full offer.

**Is it legal?** The actor reads public job-offer pages that robots.txt allows, without login, and outputs no personal data. Check France Travail's terms for your use case.

# Actor input Schema

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Department codes (<code>75</code> Paris, <code>69</code> Rhône, <code>2A</code> Corse-du-Sud, <code>971</code> Guadeloupe) or region codes ending in R (<code>11R</code> Île-de-France, <code>84R</code> Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, <code>93R</code> Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur). France Travail lists up to about 1,000 offers per location, so use departments rather than regions for more.

## `titleContains` (type: `array`):

Keep only offers whose title contains one of these words, e.g. <code>serveur</code>, <code>développeur</code> (case and accents ignored). Applied by the actor to each search page; only matching offers are opened and billed.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many offers in total, across all locations. Each offer is billed once.

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Open each offer page for salary, weekly hours, postcode, sector and occupation (one extra request per offer, no extra charge). Off: search data only (title, employer, contract, location, date), about 20x faster.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Apify Proxy (datacenter is enough). The actor switches to a new IP whenever a request is blocked or fails, and falls back to direct requests if the proxy keeps failing.

{
  "locations": [
    "75"
  ],
  "maxItems": 20,
