## Pricing

from $3.50 / 1,000 product listings

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Alza Scraper

**Alza Scraper** pulls listing cards from Alza.cz and Alza.sk into JSON for price monitoring. Each row is one product from a search or category page: price, availability, rating, review count, and product code. Use it as an Alza API alternative from Python, Node.js, cURL, or an AI assistant over MCP.

Alza Scraper ◄── you are here

| Actor | What it collects |
| :--- | :--- |
| Alza Scraper ◄── you are here | Alza.cz and Alza.sk listing cards: price, availability, rating, code |
| [Allegro Scraper](https://apify.com/crawloop/allegro-scraper) | Allegro search cards: price, seller, offer parameters |

### When to use this Actor

- Track a keyword’s shelf price, stock text, and rating on Alza.cz or Alza.sk.
- Export a category URL you already filtered in the browser.
- Feed a sheet, warehouse, or MCP agent with one JSON row per product.

### When not to use this Actor

- You need the spec table, full description, or review text. This Actor reads the listing page only.
- You need Alza.hu, Alza.at, or Alza.de. Those domains are skipped.
- You need a Polish marketplace. Use Allegro Scraper for that.

### Key features

- **Search and categories.** Keywords plus Alza.cz and Alza.sk search or category URLs. The next page uses the `-p2.htm` suffix.
- **Listing-card fields.** Price, currency, availability, rating, review count, product code, and the can-buy flag.
- **Residential connection.** Listing pages open through a Czech or Slovak residential proxy.
- **Empty searches stay empty.** A blocked or zero-result page finishes with no rows.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | What it does |
| :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- |
| `searchQueries` | string\[] | `iphone` | Keywords. Each one opens listing pages. |
| `startUrls` | URL\[] | — | Search or category URLs. Product pages are skipped. |
| `country` | string | `CZ` | `CZ` uses alza.cz, `SK` uses alza.sk. A start URL keeps its own domain. |
| `maxItems` | integer | `50` | Cap across all keywords and URLs. |
| `maxPagesPerQuery` | integer | `2` | Listing pages per keyword or URL. |
| `requestDelayMs` | integer | `0` | Pause before page 2 and later pages. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | residential | Czech or Slovak residential proxy. Required for a cloud run. |

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["iphone"],
  "country": "CZ",
  "maxItems": 24,
  "maxPagesPerQuery": 1
}
```

A pasted category URL:

```json
  "maxItems": 24,
  "maxPagesPerQuery": 1
}
```

### Use cases

| Job | What you run | What you keep |
| :--- | :--- | :--- |
| **Price watch** | One keyword, one or two pages | `price`, `currency`, `code`, `scrapedAt` |
| **Stock check** | The same keyword on a schedule | `availability`, `inStock` |
| **Category export** | A category URL | Only the slice that page already shows |
| **CZ and SK** | The same keyword with `country` set to `CZ`, then `SK` | Compare `price` and `currency` |

### Integration examples

#### Node.js

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: process.env.APIFY_TOKEN });
const run = await client.actor('crawloop/alza-scraper').call({
  searchQueries: ['iphone'],
  country: 'CZ',
  maxItems: 24,
  maxPagesPerQuery: 1
});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
console.log(items.slice(0, 5));
```

#### Python

```python
import os
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient(os.environ["APIFY_TOKEN"])
run = client.actor("crawloop/alza-scraper").call(
        "maxItems": 24,
        "maxPagesPerQuery": 1,
    }
)
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item.get("code"), item.get("title"), item.get("price"), item.get("currency"))
```

#### cURL

### MCP and AI assistants

Use this Actor from AI tools via [Apify MCP](https://docs.apify.com/platform/integrations/mcp). Connect your Apify account, then call this Actor by Store ID `crawloop/alza-scraper`.

Example prompts:

- "Run Alza Scraper for iphone on alza.cz, one page, and return title, price, currency, availability, and code."
- "Scrape Alza.sk for notebook and list 20 cards with rating and review count."
- "After Alza catalog prices, run Allegro Scraper for the same keyword and compare prices."

### Next step

For Polish marketplace search cards, run [Allegro Scraper](https://apify.com/crawloop/allegro-scraper).

### FAQ

**What do I need to start?**\
A keyword in `searchQueries`, or a search or category URL in `startUrls`.

**Does a zero-result search fail the run?**\
No. The run finishes and the dataset stays empty.

**Can I paste a product URL?**\
Product pages are skipped. Use a search URL or a category URL.

**Which countries are included?**\
Alza.cz and Alza.sk. Other Alza domains are skipped.

**How many cards are on a page?**\
About 24. `maxItems` stops early. `maxPagesPerQuery` caps how many listing pages open.
