## Pricing

from $14.00 / 1,000 rfqs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

DLA DIBBS RFQ solicitations from the public daily index: NSN, quantity, unit, return-by date, set-aside, and buyer code.

Use it when a parts desk needs new Requests for Quotation without copying the search screens. Each dataset row is one solicitation from a posted-day index file. This is a DIBBS scraper and a DIBBS API alternative for Python, Node.js, and MCP.

### When to use

- Pull RFQs posted on the latest index day, or on a date you name
- Filter by NSN, FSC, solicitation number, nomenclature, or set-aside
- Watch for new solicitations with monitor mode
- Add quote status and issue date only when you turn on the detail page

A full post day is often a few hundred rows. Raise `maxItems` when you want the whole file. Leave `includeDetails` off unless you need status and the issue date.

### Key features

- Daily public index, one file per post date
- NSN with dashes, FSC, part number, purchase request, quantity, and unit
- Return-by date, buyer code, AMSC, and set-aside
- Optional RFQ record page for quote status, issue date, and attachments
- Monitor mode that skips solicitation ids already saved
- HTTP fetch, 256 MB, no browser

### Input

- **Status check** — turn on `includeDetails` for quote status and the issue date on a short list

### Integration examples

Replace `APIFY_TOKEN` with your Apify token. The Actor name is `crawloop/dibbs-rfq-scraper`.

#### Node.js

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from "apify-client";
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: process.env.APIFY_TOKEN });
const run = await client.actor("crawloop/dibbs-rfq-scraper").call({
  fsc: "8415",
  daysBack: 1,
  maxItems: 25,
});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
console.log(items);
```

### FAQ

**Does this submit quotes or download technical drawings?**\
No. It reads the public daily index and, if you ask, the public RFQ record page. Quoting and drawing packages stay on the logged-in side.

**What if the filter matches nothing?**\
The run finishes with an empty dataset.

**Why is the nomenclature short?**\
The index file stores a fixed-width name. The record page is a separate optional request.

**How does monitor mode behave on the first run?**\
The first run saves matches up to `maxItems` and remembers those solicitation ids. Later runs with the same monitor store skip them.

# Actor input Schema

## `postedDate` (type: `string`):

Index date to start from, as YYYY-MM-DD or MM-DD-YYYY. Leave empty to use the newest public index file.

## `daysBack` (type: `integer`):

How many daily index files to read, newest first, or starting at Posted date. One file is one post day.

## `nsn` (type: `string`):

National Stock Number, with or without dashes. Partial match.

## `fsc` (type: `string`):

Federal Supply Class. One 4-digit code, or several separated by commas.

Solicitation number, with or without dashes. Partial match.

## `keyword` (type: `string`):

Case-insensitive match against the index nomenclature.

## `setAside` (type: `string`):

Keep only this set-aside. Empty keeps every set-aside.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many matching RFQs. A full post day is often a few hundred rows.

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Open each RFQ record for quote status, issue date, and whether the package has attachments.

## `monitorMode` (type: `boolean`):

Save only solicitations that were not saved on a previous run with the same monitor store.

Named key-value store that remembers solicitation ids.

## `resetMonitorState` (type: `boolean`):

Forget previously seen solicitation ids before this run.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Leave proxy off. The public index responds without a proxy. Turn a proxy on only if a run is blocked.
